It's missing some standard tetris features like holding down the button and ghost pieces, but it's a neat twist on the formula. Having a limited number of scale changes is a smart way to keep the game from being too punishing.

A unique idea that you can scale up the blocks of Tetris. This can really give diverse dynamics on the game!
Mechanics are a bit wonky, apparently scaling is connected to amount of blocks put down? also it could be smoothed, some quality features like holding left to keep it going left for example, also honestly scaling here is not an important mechanic to win, so it’s just Tetris with some blocks a bit bigger.
I do like the concept, and for 48 hours, this is not a bad execution! nice entry
You can see how much you can scale at the bottom of the screens, and the bar next to fills a bit with every new shape, when it's full you gain another "scale".
In the beginning it's not needed to scale all the time, but at the higher levels it is crucial to carefully think about which blocks to scale and which not
holy, sorry I didn’t realize the comment sounded so harsh, must have been 3 am for me when I wrote it lol. MHM I love the concept and it really gets complicated as it’s not the normal tetris I am used to, A lot of weird shapes come from those big Tetris blocks which makes it challenging, good job <3
its hard to think while they scale, but was really well done! keep the good work!
I’m suspicious to rate this game ’couse I love Tetris a lot. Tetris is one of most simple games ever made, but every day many people can make new versions of it, and you made a great, congrats.
I'm not exactly sure how the scaling mechanic works, at first I thought this was just a wonky version of Tetris until I realized I could scale the blocks. It seemed like it only worked half the time though and I'm not sure what I was supposed to do. But the concept seems cool, so nicely done on that part! I think some sort of tutorial would've helped out a lot though.
Took me a bit to figure out that the scaling was connected to the amount of blocks I placed, but a very nice twist on the tetris concept!
cool concept, but i couldnt figure out why it only worked to scale sometimes
