Ma get the camera. I'm mining!

This is very good, but I'm having trouble because there's no indicator of which part I'm digging

Submitted(+1)

Really great take on the theme. Would have loved to have seen maybe an outline to the block I am about to dig but apart from that great job, enjoyed it.

Thanks for checking it out! :)

Help I'm trapped in Minecraft Maximum Security

Funny concept, and it reminds me of that gameshow with the moving walls with shaped holes that contestants had to try to fit through. Nice job!

Thanks for trying it out! And yeah that was exactly my inspiration for it :)

Oh thanks for playing! Only 7 years lol nice. There are 3 levels total but they are just different shapes to fit through.

Great entry!

Could see the game loop expanded further, especially if some tweaks were made to the accuracy / precision of the shaping mechanics.

Voice acting had charm to it, although the clarity sounded a bit muffled at times.  Still liked how it contributed to the overall vibe.

oh, thats a fun setup for the game! Is there anyway to not waste blocks? good idea and great presentation as well - nice work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for giving it a go hah! There is a way to not waste blocks with a bunch of crouching and whatnot but it's pretty hard. I wanted to make the shaping part more precise/satisfying/with more feedback but ran out of time :)

Nice interpretation of the theme! Definitely felt like I was grappling with scale and dimensions. Also quite liked the sense of humour in the dialogue and the scoring, but bit of a shame it didn't end with a punchline.

Issue with the audio seems to come from using 3D sources with a sharp drop off, next time you could try using a non-3D source and pan the audio so that it's not too quiet/loud but you can still tell where everything is.

Love the aesthetic! It has this strange, almost dreamlike feel to it. I feel like I've contracted something after shaping the fuel. The gamejam theme is also implemented in a creative way.

As for improvements, some subtitles would have been great, the voices were a bit hard to make out.

Thanks for playing it! The fuel is mostly safe! (maybe) And yeah it could have definitely used a little more work (or a lot haha)

This is a nice chill game, I like the ambient music!

I had trouble hearing the voice acting my first run, it wasn't until I restarted the game and fiddled with the settings that I could hear MUCH better!  I think if you're going to keep working on this game would be to have some sort of indicator which block the you'll hit if you click, it would really help with accuracy!

Anyway, I got 81 years left.
