Pretty decent game, and pretty cool that you made a Game Boy game. Gives it an aesthetic that I like. Vertical platformers are fun but it didn't really utilize the theme beyond that. The theme doesn't really affect the gameplay at all other than that it's a vertical game, which in itself is not a super original idea. The controls/movement also felt like they could be improved but that's something that can be hard to get right in a platformer. It was also a little hard for me to find where I was supposed to go at times but I did make it to the end. Lastly, the game could use some more types of obstacles and hazards to make the ascent more interesting. Anyway not trying to come down super hard, just wanted to offer some areas I thought could be improved. Finishing anything in such a short time is not easy, so good job!

Very fun game, with charming retro graphics and music. It took me back to games of the past. Great job!

The learning curve was steep, I was confused by the drainage pipe obstacles until the later part of the game, but once I understood everything the level design came together, and seemingly got better as I progressed. The way you are punished with long falls reminds me of Jump King, an unconventional platformer that I'm a huge fan of. After a particularly brutal fall through three layers of drainage pipes I had to call it quits before I broke my laptop, but I may come back, these sorts of games tend to do that to me :P Nice work!

This looks really nice, but unfortunately I can't get past the first hurdle! I tried a few times but keep getting caught. Loved the text at the beginning, really stylish.

First off, not a game dev!

This has some serious potential as a Gameboy-style platformer! However, I was unable to clear the very first obstacle, which I consider a game-breaking bug. I'd consider shortening the hurdle by one of... Well, whatever those things you fall through are. Doing that would make it possible to progress.
