Gonna echo what others have said here about the turning rate-- I grabbed every turning upgrade I could get my hands on but still got outscaled (hah) by the size increase debuff to turning. On my 4th upgrade I didn't roll a turning rate upgrade as any of the three options and at that point the fish became pretty unmaneuverable.

That said I'm a sucker for this sort of endless upgrade system. I kept playing despite the problems because ultimately the dream of becoming a large fish and eating everything is a powerful one.

Yeah,  definitely the games biggest downside.

A cool concept, but it's hampered quite a bit by the turning speed. The first form's is fine, but after that it just becomes excruciatingly slow. I don't know if there are upgrades that could have helped, but I never got any that did. Mostly just got speed ones, which often puts me in more danger than not.

The environment looks nice, and I really like the concept, growing over time, etc.

Developer

There are upgrades to increase the turn rate, but it doesn't scale properly with the player's size. Thanks for the feedback!

Love the theme and the gameplay for the most part. I think holding space to swim would make the game more enjoyable, instead of tapping space for swimming. I would also be really cool if you implemented an infinite sea, with more scenery.

Developer

I tried making a procedural ocean, but coudnt get it to work in time. Definitely needs more environmental design.

Yeah, tough in 4 days! You did great though and I really loved eating the smaller fish. It was hilarious the first time I bounced off a same size fish and didn't take any damage.

The spinning speed felt a bit too slow, which made it hard to avoid getting eaten at times. Maybe a wider camera view could help with that. Aside from that, it's a solid game with a cool theme!

Developer

A wider camera is a good idea actually.

The spinning speed is unfortunate. And sometimes I feel like I couldn't do anything about being eaten. Maybe a wider camera would help. But other than that, a very consistent game with a cool theme!!

Thanks!

I put all upgrades in the turning speed and still I felt the turning was becoming slower and slower😭
But the graphics are extremely polished!

Developer

Thanks! I should've made the turn speed scale with the player's size.

Never thought we can use vampire survivor concept in this style. Very creative and lots of fun!

Now that you mention, I can see the similarities.

The fish spins so slow. Other than that, it is pretty cool.
