It's a fun game and a creative way to incorporate the jam theme!

Interesting how you made a twist to this typical “catch the drops” style of game, where here you go from “I need to catch” to “I need to avoid” mid game. Very creative, and from a jiujitsu fighter myself, I find it very true as how it goes when theres championships xD

Thank you for the kind words. I shudder to imagine how professionals go through this tiresome (and sometimes dangerous) process of managing their weight before their fights!

A simple and fun game, I can see this working well as a phone game with a currency system and different skins for characters and new types of food that can be unlocked.

I like the sound when the ninja eats things, really crisp sound :3

Thank you for the review! And you know what, I actually did think that this would work well on mobile as well! I do feel the idea is worth exploring, and it's good to see someone else think the same!

And full credit for the sound to the generous creator on freesound - https://freesound.org/s/573577/

The Sounds effects are good and the game is fun to play. I think the art style could be more coherent.
