Really enjoyed this game, took me a while to get the hang of it! I think it has a lot of potential and would love to see some more. A tutorial would be very helpful
First of all, the music: banger, much vibe;
Second, the time-limit is actually tighter than expected which is nice;
It would've been nice, if there was a short tutorial or something alike, my first time around I didn't know that you can double jump and how to throw grenades; Also it would have been interesting if the way back somehow changed your interactions, like you can't shot anymore, so you need to tactically clean out the enemies first while balancing your time for the way back, but thats just a suggestion
Overall, even if a bit undercooked, still fun and expandable
Hello! I enjoyed the game—short but fun nonetheless! However, a few points could use some changes:
- Firstly, there's no audio or visual feedback when you hit a monster, making it hard to tell if you've landed a hit.
- The "blue crocodile/hippo" monsters are quite frustrating and often drag you through the door you just entered.
- Except for the "blue crocodiles/hippos," the impact of other monsters is negligible, so I found myself just avoiding them rather than engaging.
- Shooting the door to open it isn't intuitive. Maybe add something that indicates we should shoot at it?
The implementation of the jam's theme, "build to scale," is only reflected in the story and doesn’t impact gameplay, which is a bit disappointing.
Still, it was a short and enjoyable experience.
Hope you continue to make game and find enjoyement in making them !
hello, this was an interesting game, i enjoyed the 2nd part of the level the most (the ones with ledges on the top) because while returning it with the objective it was a fun platforming task. The blue crocodiles captured me as soon as the door opened, i cannot escape them :'( but it was still fun :)
