Very well-made and polished game! The mechanics paired with sound effects definitely make it a bit addictive, in a good sense.

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Cheers

intro is way too long, should've spent more time polishing up the main game.

Nice effort though.

Developer

It's my first ever attempt of making an intro so imperfections are inevitable. Thanks for visiting my game!

I can proudly say this is the best game I have played so far in the jam, at least fun-wise. I just absolutely love games where you need to build stuff up to get stronger. (That's why my entry is kind of similar to this.) My final score is currently 170k. I will definitely come back to this in the future.

The only critique I have is that sometimes it was hard to tell if I actually got hit or not.

Besides that, this is a really addictive game. Good job!

Developer

Yeah I should have added a sound of metal colliding. But I forgot :P

Took some time to get used to but I was soon addicted. Played a couple times and reached 60k. Will definitely be revisiting to beat the game!

Developer

Some of my playtesters blamed me for making the game so addictive lol

I think I played this one longer than any game yet. It reminded me of the kind of flash game I loved as a kid and made me feel very nostalgic. A+

I do think the balancing needs tweaking, feels very punishing early on.

Developer

Yeah, my bad. I should probably retweak my difficulty scaling.

That's super playable, polished and has good sound design. Great job!

Developer

Thanks! I'm really proud of it myself

Solid game! Took a sec to figure out how to build, and I wish you could start building during the tutorial. I never really figured how to upgrade. That said, this was a blast to play!

Developer

Welp, it's my first ever attempt at creating a tutorial. I'm glad that you enjoyed it!

Submitted

Similar feedback to everyone else regarding the tutorial, but otherwise I had a blast! Played it a couple times to beat my distance! Really great job!

Developer(+1)

Cheers! Yours is awesome too.

Really nice. I liked the strategic element!

I made it to 38 000km! I liked the narrative intro and the tutorial is great (if a bit long maybe).

I would have liked a label on the two progress bars maybe? In any case, congratulations on your game :)

Developer

The ending is around the 200.000km mark but I doubt anyone would invest the time beating it though haha. Thanks for playing!

Neat! Two changes I recommend are: Give input option to move the dialog along instead of animating it away on its own; and another change is making the tutorial slower- like the other person said, introduce one part at a time.

Developer

It's the first time I ever made a proper tutorial so I'll keep that in mind next time. Thanks for playing!

Submitted(+1)

nice idea! i think would be nice if you can introduce the mechanics one at a time!

Developer

Well each basic components are quite straightforward so I thought the quick explanation in the tutorial was enough. Thanks for playing!

Wow, this is great. I can see this be a full roguelite ala FTL.

Developer

I really wanted to have different types of meteorite with various materials but unfortunately, I didn't have enough time :P
