Very fun game! I would have appreciated a few more instructions, as I was very confused for a while, but when I figured it out, I enjoyed it.  One issue I had was that the shelf got cluttered up with wrong potions as I made them, and there didn't seem to be a way to get rid of them so I couldn't make any new ones and had to reload the game. Is this on purpose? If so I feel like there should be a "Game Over" type screen so that you at least know what is going on. Beside that, great game, keep it up!!!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah we should've been more clear when it comes to how to do stuff and what is happening :/

Nice game :)

It would be great to have a book of "discovered recipes".

Developer

Thanks! Yeah that would be great to add, we need to get on it!

Well made game... good luck with the Jam :)

Developer

Thanks! Good luck to you too :D

Neat idea! I only got 2 correct poitions and of those only 1 was wanted the other was supposed to be something else.

If you keep going then it would be fun if heros come in and also give you bonus on how fast you are

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! That's a great idea!

Happy to help

Make sure to check out my game too!

Fun idea, would love to see it more developed

Developer

Thanks! Once we get enough time after the jam we will sure work more on it!

I failed alot... is there a potion against failing xD

Thanks for the Submission!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. We might need to add that one :D

It took me a lot of failed potions to figure out how things worked, but eventually I started to get into a groove of combining things. It would maybe be nice to have some ability to take notes in the game or have it automatically unlock as you discover combinations? At any rate, it was fun to experiment with. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Originally there was supposed to be a recipe book like that but we were too busy and wanted to focus on more important stuff first.

Fun idea!

Developer

Thanks!

Was very fun trying to figure out the combination of potions from the description clues, though I was not able to figure out how to make the more complex potions. Being able to throw them away could of helped with experimentation. Very fun idea and good execution.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! At first we wanted to add throwing away the potions when the quests were supposed to be time based but we didn't have time for that so we decided that throwing them away wouldn't be possible as to increase the difficulty. We plan on working more on the game after the jam so we will fix all those errors :D

Submitted(+1)

Really well done on this! Experimenting with potions is fun, and the descriptive clues are good, I wasn't very good at the more complex potions, I understood that I needed a different base and that the bottles looked to have markings indicating how many I would need as well but I kept getting them wrong.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! We really didn't think this through with more complex potions :/. Markings on the bottles were meant to indicate the temperature and we forgot to mark which base potions used. I'm glad you had fun tho :D

Submitted(+1)

Ah that makes sense, I did notice the dial for the temperature, but at the time I just went "oooh clickable" and didn't think much of it, will give it another go and see if I do better!

Cool idea having to figure out how to make the potions without it being spelled out for you. The music tended to stop when I'd switch to the brewing part. I also feel like it would benefit from having a timer per potion to add a bit more challenge. The art was a good style and I had a fair bit of fun playing it. Nice work :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks! We didn't have time to fix the music unfortunately. We also thought a timer would create more challenge but we had so little time we ended up leaving it for after the jam. I'm glad you had fun!

Submitted(+1)

Yeah the jam timer really puts a spanner in the works haha

The experimentation is fun, I wish there were more potion types so I didn't end up with so many weird potions!

Developer

Yeah I wanted to add more potions but we had so little time and so many bugs that I had to left it to the mercy of "will we have time for that?", turned out we didn't :(

Neat! I wished there were more SFX, but overall pretty cool!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a ton! We planned adding more SFX but left it at the end because of our time issue and unfortunately we didn't have any time left for that :/

Submitted(+1)

Nice! Clever take on the theme that rewards experimentation.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! We tried to do our best within our quite limited time :D

Very nice, well done! I   wanted to throw away the potions but without a time-based element I understand it would have pretty massive gameplay implications.   I really liked the idea and setting as well!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Glad to hear you liked it! The original idea was that you could throw away potions and there would be a couple of potions needed to be done within a certain time constraint but we didn't have much time that weekend so we decided to go for something simpler.
