I like the idea, like the graphics, but you should definitely punish the player for smashing buttons, because you can speed run real fast
Fun game!
Enjoyed it but I feel getting worms from the hook should be more of a challenge. But thew presentation and tone was lovely.
The gameplay of this game is very simple and clear, and the point is very interesting. In this jam, there are actually several games where players play the role of fish, but only your game has added the character of 'Fish Wife' and some emotional elements, which has great potential. I think if there is some feedback from your wife when sending food to her or adding some storylines at the beginning and end, it would make your game more impressive. :)!
I m glad that you found our game interesting. We did have a storyline and dialogues planned out, even an intro cutscene to convey what is actually going on, but unfortunately being first timers we were unable to deal with the time crunch, so our priority shifted towards making something atleast playable. Hopefully you will like the storyline, should we add the same post game jam. Cheers.
This is the most charming game I've played this jam. Really represents the theme of the jam perfectly. After successfully feeding my fishy wife, I decided against my better judgement to fail the next run. A+
