The idea is really original and you create a small but fun experience, although you can exploit the input changes with a short duck after each input to go back to normal inputs. You could maybe change the variable duck to a constant in time duck to avoid this exploit. It would be great if you could expand it after the voting period and see new obstacles and inputs changes. Well done!

Developer

Yeah I will probably add more inputs like shooting enemies or blocking certain stuff to confuse the player even more. I will also try my best to get rid of the exploit without changing the game too much. :) Thanks for your feedback

Interesting idea, but jumping over holes seems to be impossible for me.

Developer

Yea I tied the framerate to the speed of the character and that makes it impossible for some people to jump over the holes...

So simple, but at the same time such a nice concept and well executed. This is the ideal game jam to me. I think I may have found an exploit on the mechanics and making it easier for me -so an ideal iteration may want to disallow constantly ducking or adding more obstacles, but doesn't distract from the enjoyment. Good job!

Yea that exploit kinda makes the game a lot easier ahaha. Thank you for your feedback :)

As a small game, surprisingly polished! This was both hilarious and well-executed :)

I really like the idea and the experience is described by the title of the game itself lol

The tutorial in the level is a nice touch and the idea is interesting. The music is great and editing the text to say this incredible game is a nice touch. (I think what everyone is talking about with the pits is that your using delta time in a way that cause the player to move differently on different monitors) Overall great job. :D

Developer

Thank you :) (Ahhh that makes sense. I kinda forgot about that...) Thanks:)

Cool concept. The pit is a shade too large on the track, and the pacing feels a bit slow. Also think you can time your hops well and prevent your character from being inverted if you hop right before or as you touch the ground. I can definitely see this ramping up to be a thoroughly chaotic time.

Developer

Thank you for you feedback :) yea its a bit slow in the beginning but it should speed if you get far enough. But you're right the speedup could be faster.

Cool idea, but it would've been more chaotic and confusing to the player if you added more controls that would change other than just jumping and ducking. And umm... you won't make it if you try to jump over a pit.

Developer

Yea thats true but it was my first game jam and I started a little late. I'm not sure what you mean by "you won't make it if you try to jump over a pit", because I can jump over pits... Maybe it's a bug or you just got a lot further than I and the speedup makes the jump impossible.. idk
