Fun game, I think maybe making the spotlight able to leave the screen would help with the controlling of it

actually really clever idea, if there was more time to make the viewport a bit larger the levels could get really complex

That's actually a great point. There are definitely some instances where the size of the camera feels limiting to drag space of the spotlight. Thanks for the feedback!

Awesome game, great concept, but the camera/spotlight movement felt finicky at times. Still a great game though!

Thank you! I fully agree, I actually wanted to make the spotlight look like a camera screen, including borders in the edges and a crosshair in the middle. The crosshair especially would have made the player movement much better. I didn't have time to create the camera screen sprite and i ended up forgetting to put a simple crosshair which is too bad. I also did not want the player to move to the middle upon very small spotlight movements but this ended up making the movement pretty incremental which I think sadly turned out worse. Regardless though, thank you for playing!
