I like the concept, probably could lead to a bigger project. Even though I appreciate "hauting" people, I wish there could be more challenge, like for example each part being a level and you having to find out the best way to scare those people, but it probably would need more time and, well, we don't have much in those jams, right? lol
Nice try, tho, hope you keep improving on the project :)
Unfortunateally we don't have much time, but I'm glad you liked the game anyways
This is very cute! Some very good animations (the cat!!)
I love the concept, too, especially the full-scope version; it's a shame you didn't get to full release but congrats on getting something good out regardless!
Thank you, the cat is actually my favourite animation its so goofy and it fits the game really well, and yeah I was really tight with time, I think I made this Ai in like last hour...
This is a sick idea.
I liked the saw reference lol
I'm glad someone finally noticed him xD
The game didn't load in my browser, maybe it's my internet, but I left my review. Good job!
The different scared were fun to interact with :D
Sad that the jam only lasted 48 hours, really curious what you would come up with, with another 48 hours. The basics are fun, especially the animations :) Good job anyway!
Very cute, I feel like this could have been a genuinely great game with some simple puzzle mechanics included similar to something like Grow Island (or the rest of the Grow X series) where u have a set number of interactables but the order u choose to engage with them makes a series of different effects. Maybe scaring one person blocks the staircase and keeps people upstairs from getting out? Overall very good work tho :)
I mean they still have a balcony, xD actually I see where you're going and that would have been a great puzzle and story-like game...but I was having something more chaotic in mind...
This was a great concept for a game. Seeing all the ways you can scare people was pretty fun. Unfortunately, there's not really much gameplay, other than that. This has great potential though!
Well it took me a while to find a decent idea, and I overscoped on the art... but atleast I have something
This is actually so creative! Too bad we only had 2 days, I can't imagine how many more interactable things you will create if we have more time. hahaha. Great job!
Thanks, well maybe I would have worked on actual AI like I said in description xD
Saw the description, totally relate with the overscoping. Still a fun game to try out and nice art and animations :) This can definitely be a great game with expanded features.
I'm glad you liked the animations, and yeah, it can always be expanded ...
Haha great! Cool game, reminds me of bad neighbors
Thanks for playing!
Really cute and a short game, but there's currently pretty much no challenge at all. This has definitely potential for a good puzzle game!
Thanks for playing, and yeah I know that there's no challenge for now, but I will try and update the game with better Ai post jam
I like the concept, Nice animations. Would be fun if it was more a puzzle getting the people out of the house.
I totally agree with that there is no challenge, and I'm glad you liked the animations
Surprisingly fun! I loved the animations, this would make a spectacular puzzle game!
I'm glad you liked the animations and found the game fun, thanks for playing
You definitely have a good concept! I can see you adding more challenges as well as adding levels. I was really invested in which each object did and I found that added a lot of charm to the game! I encourage you to keep building on it :D
Thanks for playing.... btw what's your favourite animation?
Ooo, it's hard to pick just one, I really liked the cabinet with the cat and the tentacles coming out of the toilet haha!
Short and sweet. Cool animations!
Thanks for playing
Pretty neat, I like all the different animations. Others have said there should be more of a challenge, which I agree with. Maybe a raising of the stakes? Could also have some kind of randomization. Maybe the house gets bigger with every level, different rooms, different people in them? Maybe one character doesn't get scared by a TV turning on but does with the monster under the bed?
That kinda was my original plan, have people wander around the house and you have to figure out who is truly scared of what, and they wouldn't just run towards exit, instead the would get "scared" and rush in any room at random (having the higher chance to end in the room they haven't been scared in) but sadly I overscoped on the art... And I was thinking it's better to publish something... rather than nothing...
Absolutely, submitting something is better than nothing, especially for jam projects! And I understand overscoping, there's a lot of my game I had to cut
Neat. But small)
Was interested in seeing all animations, but it's not really a game - no challenges
Well I'm glad you were interested in animations, cause that's where I spent the majority of time xD, but now that some people have suggested to make it a puzzle game, I think that could fix the issue of no challenge
Really cool! I really like the idea! I wish it was longer though. As MidnightBaker said could be a very fun puzzle game!
I'm glad that you liked the game, and yes, it certainly could be an amazing puzzle game mechanic
This is a really cute little game. I loved all of the little details on the different ways to scare people. With some more development this could be made into a fantastic puzzle game
Thanks for the feedback, I was going for a more chaotic vibe, but I overscoped on the art xD... It certainly could be a great puzzle game, now that i think of it
