love it

A really nice idea, but I think the hitboxes could use a little tweaking, when I tried to jump on the heroes head my creatures would die, but if I just stand on one of the branches the hero jumps into me and dies. Other than that this is a pretty solid entry!

That's a beautiful game, I like it! It's cool when innocent creatures can revenge to hero.

Freaking love this concept. I would play a whole game like this. I wasn't able to beat it even the first hero/area though. One thing that would have helped is to wait a second or two after your snail dies before shifting to the next one so you can see what happened exactly.

I like the idea of using the grunts in the world to destroy the hero -- interesting reversal of roles. It's also interesting how the playable characters (the snails) are a bit disposable, meaning if one dies you take control of another.

I second what others have said about being a bit confusing to figure out how to play, but overall nice ideas!

Very nice idea! Unfortunately it’s really confusing as to what the player should actually do. I’ve read in the comments that you kill the hero by jumping on her head, but I tried this and never managed to do that. Although at some point the hero just died, seemingly without my intervention.

There’s also a spot where you can “trap” the hero (first screenshot).

The font in the text is beautiful but also quite hard to read for people with vision problems.

thank you for the feedback! It sounds like you were successfully hitting on her head but thr "hit" wasn't being clearly visually communicated in my implementation. I'll work on improving this (and the font readability etc) for the future

Thank you! The art came from another user's sprite pack:

pretty neat concept!

even though i couldn't figure out to actually kill the hero i liked ur art and parallax effects.

thank you for playing it and sharing feedback! To damage the hero you have to jump on its head. Thats good feedback about clarity of goals :)

I had planned to make more characters with actual attacks but ran out of time.
