Screenshots looks interesting! but I on Apple ARM Parallels Windows it just gives me a blank screen after the Godot splash, but that's just on my end. Sorry I couldn't rate it because of my setup :(

Developer

Oh that's unfortunate :( Too bad I can't upload another build as per jam rules, but I'll definitely add them once the jam ends! I'm glad that you take interest in the concept :D

love the character design and the art style was fun to play

Developer

Thank you for playing! Glad that you liked the legs oh I mean the fish lol

First of all, a four-legged catfish wearing a flower hat is genius character design. As a person whose username comes from the Finnish word for catfish I just had to try this :D

The main gameloop was quite fun. It was fun planning the route in advance and the fast-paced running through enemy bullets had fun Hotline Miami vibes. The music fits the game well.

The camera movement felt juicy but sound effects would add to the juiciness. Also game over UI when dying would be helpful. But overall, really solid entry!

Developer

Thanks for playing my game! It was my first jam so I wasn't sure of myself, but I'm glad that you enjoyed it. 100% agree with your criticisms, really should have thought about game over UI instead of drawing the legs for 2 hours lol.

Those legs... Those eyes... Perfection. I like it, but the game is in debug mode
