This is so good. I love the art, the music , it all comes together very nice. Slap on more levels and it's finished in my eyes :) There seem to be some collider bugs and it's probably more intuitive that the bus is not auto-picked up, I yeeted it a couple of times, but all in all, I really loved playing this !!! This needs to be in @MarkBrown's video compilation for sure ;) It's BUSSING !

To anyone that gave up early on:
One of the earliest levels somewhat introduces an "idea" that is pretty obscure, and not easy to notice depending on what actions you take and observe. But while I was playing, my friend happened to notice what I was missing, and then the rest of the game felt perfect!

That one level aside, this game was really fun, and I'm glad that I was encouraged to get past the level, and that my friend noticed what I was overlooking. The art, concept, and general execution of this game is great! I really enjoyed how controlling everyone worked, and how the player is encouraged to look for ways to introduce asymmetrical movement to overcome challenges. I think that the "problem level" highlights why adding some kind of "skip level" option to Game Jam entries is so important imo, as *ideally* you would find these issues in Play Testing, but rarely is that going to be an option when you have only 2 days to make a game from nothing and release it.

Anyway-- I loved this game, and I hope that I get to see a post-jam update, because I would definitely love to play more of the game! Goodluck in the jam!

Really charming game and I loved the whole theme implementation, really clever. The humour with the in-game commentary was also a great touch!

I adore this game

I LOVE it! Clever puzzles, sweet presentation (special mention for the banger intro), fits the theme. It has some Human: Fall Flat vibes, I'm diggin' it :D Controls are a bit janky sometimes, but eh it is part of the charm! (and god, what a genius title)

Good job!

The opening bit is amazing and the idea fit the theme in an unexpected way ! Elso the music is a banger. Did it become really hard really fast or am i a total noob ?

Ow, my leg.

Really silly premise, loved the opening cutscene lol. Unfortunately I didn't really enjoy the actual puzzle gameplay; the movement was kinda tricky and I never knew if the way I completed the level was the intended solution or not. It could be just because I'm bad at the game though, and I still loved the art and overall vibes :)

Developer

he levels ended up being a lot more difficult than intended. some of them have extra parts that distract players from the actual solution (especially level 4) and many of levels also have wonky unintended solutions. I posted a youtube vid on the itch page that has the intended solutions in the first 2.5 minutes, and all the alternate/wonky solutions in the rest of the vid in case you're interested

I spent most of the jam on that cutscene, so I didnt have a lot of time for the actual game xD

thanks for play and feedback!

People is bus indeed. Quite tough to figure out, I relied on a technique called jump-around-like-an-idiot-and-hope. Great idea, fun game!

Developer

its like they say, "if it works, it aint idiot" xD

the levels ended up being a lot harder than I anticipated, but jumping technique can halp a bunch even if kinda unintentional hehehe

I guess I ain't that smart, cus the game is

I love the intro and the concept ! So random, and so funny !

I find the gameplay pretty cool, but the level design is a bit frustrating, it felt like I was never sure the solution I tried was the good one, and everything required very good execution, which is not a good thing for a puzzle game. And as the character behaviours are a bit janky on purpose, it almost feels like you need to exploit strangeness in their behaviours to solve puzzles.

I like the art! I'm not good at puzzle games, but this was fun anyway!

Loved the art and the funny concept!! I thik the bus should be carreid for a small time after one of the humans falls, it will make the game less jankier! But good job for such a game, please continue after the gamejam!!

If you can find the time, would you please check out our game as well?!

Our twist of the theme is that a critic tries to play your unfinished game, and you fight from inside the computer to make him like it.
