it’s really messy rn but I’ll be waiting for the post-game updates!

I'm still a bit confused on how we're supposed to properly assign quests and how high the reward should be, though it's indeed a very interesting idea for a game! I'd be happy to see more of it in the future if the team wants to continue working on it.

I wish the game was a bit more polished, it feels like the concept has so much potential and is creative.

If you can find the time, would you please check out our game as well?

Our twist of the theme is that a critic tries to play your unfinished game, and you fight from inside the computer to make him like it. Hope you'll like it!

This game feels very unfinished. There are multiple places where the text '[character name]' appears in-game. At the end of each day, it shows you the result of two quests, but I have no way of seeing what quest each result is a result of. I also can't figure out what effect changing the reward of a quest does. It clearly impacts things somehow, but I can't figure it out.

That said, there is a very solid premise behind this game. If this game were polished a bit and the mechanics were made more clear, I could totally see a game like this working.

itch.io crashed before we can get the working download updated in time for the game jam deadline, so this download here unfortunately won't work. The game will soon be uploaded on our page correctly if people want to check it out anyway
