Oh, nice idea!
I also think about Breakout, but can't imagine this.
Good job!

I liked the concept! Didn't fully understand at first but I managed to figure it out! Was pretty fun and frantic especially when the ball got super fast!

Thank you! It's a little counter-intuitive I agree but I'm glad you figured it out and had a good time.
I realized afterward the game would probably be much more intuitive if I flipped the entire thing upside down, so the location of player agency matches old arcade games.

very cool concept!!

Really nice entry, matches the theme great, the art and music is great and it runs well in browser. Great job :D

This game is addictive! At one point I placed one of the 2-hit blocks just as the ball hit it, and it immediately disappeared, but overall a really fun game to play! Loved the art style, very cohesive.

Thank you orngepeel! Yes, the ball collision on placement is a feature I had on my list but didn't quite get to fix.

Thanks for taking the time!

I really enjoyed that! I'm surprised it doesn't have more ratings! One thing to improve on was the block placement,  make sure the main mechanic (Placing blocks) always works during development, other wise it can get very clunky at times in the game. Good job!
