I liked the controls and the feedback to the click inputs. Nice choice of art, colors and sounds. It is quite a relaxing experience. A Job well done for a 48hr project!
Feel free to hop into my game as well and share your thoughts and ratings if you have the time
I really like this concept! the execution is great but I feel like the difficulty scaling may need some adjustments, I can see this game going a long way with some updates and polish :]
Fantastic use of shaders and lighting to create an eerie but oddly beautiful atmosphere. The mix of the waves and the sound from attracting the ships makes it sound almost siren-like, appropriate for "luring" in the ships. The big bad fish is great, I do wish it was a lil spoopier tho :D Otherwise very nicely done, once you get the hang of the game it's quite enjoyable, but might need a lil extra juice for when you collect a ship :))
Great game and great mechanics! Loved the difficulty progression
Cool atmosphere and nice take on the theme! Great work.
A very cool concept that was executed well. Not gonna mention the ramping difficulty because people already pointed that out. There is a lot of potential for this game if you add some more content, and it should be a game ready for publishing! For now, it is amazing for a 48-hour game jam submission!
The game gets too easy with damage upgrades and extremely hard without one. This could sound fair, however other upgrades do not give such a comparable advantage. Mood is really nice, effects are crisp. I wish I could face what I saw on a preview image - a dozen of angry eyes but they only come one by one.
Here is my playtest:
Good job, I really liked the concept!
Super fun game with a difficult night one and two! really fun concept and well executed. i just wish that the difficulty didnt fall off maybe implementing a fuel cap could help? I wouldve likd to see a bossfight every 5-10 levels too! it was very enjoyable! i reached night 15 (stopped cuz 15 just seems like a good number to stop on lol)
I think it might be too difficult but I do like the art style
simple but fun game! I had to restart a couple of times before I made it past the first night, but when I got the hang of it it became fun and challenging. The look and sound is great too, well done
Loved the art and the idea, great execution, maybe you could also add more things like kraken and stuff later
Very simple but very effective, love the sound design and the gameplay mechanics. I felt like I could keep going forever as the difficulty felt like it didn't scale but I kept getting better upgrades. But other then that, was tons of fun and a good way to spend 30 minutes!
Good game! I liked the idea of playing the lighthouse. The art and how everything looked were amazing too
It gets a bit repetitive after a while and the ship blowing up after they got to the lighthouse made me think I did something wrong hah
Wow, I really enjoyed playing the game. Interesting understanding of the theme. Graphics looked super cool, overall great work. Well done.
Great art style! Had a lot of fun with this one for sure. Well done!
I love the vibes of this game. The gameplay is simple but everything else makes up for it.
Very nice idea. Loved the graphics.
I love the Lovecraftian vibes ! Did you take inspiration the game Dredge by any chance ? Good job on making this game you 2!
Thank you! And yeah it must have been part of the inspiration at least subconciously! A little bit of Dredge, a little bit of The Lighthouse
