Great idea, and honestly really fun to mess with but...my goodness was it frustrating to try and beat it... almost MOTIVATINGLY frustrating but...not quite. Still an awesome concept to be maybe fleshed out over a few levels of difficulty? maybe a macro feature? Has potential and looks great. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing! :D

The high difficulty came from us having run out of time in the end, basically. Perhaps it would be better to have a full-fledged level with predefined inputs in a more puzzle-oriented way.

Good concept but very unfair and difficult gameplay. The music and the visuals are amazing tho!

Developer

Thanks for playing! We actually found it rather easy to complete the game, though, haha!

Cool concept, but pretty difficult. Easiest way to win is to make sure the fire button is always being pressed. Trying to fumble with the other keys is a dauting task.

Developer

Thanks for playing! The difficulty was "on purpose" since we had no time for refinements! XD

I really like the look of the game! Megaman! The difficulty is a bit wild though. There is a lot to keep track of at once and the mental load can get a little overwhelming especially when you get your buttons down only for the controller to switch. I almost wish I had a buddy to watch the buttons with me. Also certain buttons being the same color adds to the confusion and I quickly could not grasp which buttons were which and where they needed to go in time. It would be nice to have an instant reset button to reset the board when things get too hectic. Solid concept just needs refinement for ease of use.

Thanks for playing! Yeah, the game is really hectic as it is, we ran out of time for balancing and refinements, basically. The reset button idea is really good, will keep it in mind if we ever expand upon this. :D

Neat idea, not sure how much it fits the theme, I guess it's swapping roles with the game system itself?

Very difficult and frustrating though, it's too hard to move things quick enough to really make things happen. I also kept trying to click or move things around on the controller, even after I knew that's not how to do it. I got to about 60% boss hp.

Developer

Thanks for playing! As for the theme, you are "playing as the console", not as the player. Kinda wonky, but we found it amusing. :)
