Really great puzze game, and I never thought I would see a crossover of Snake and Portal, but here we are xD

I can't believe you were able to make such challenging levels for this in 48 hours! I loved all the different mechanics and the portals are definitely very creative. However, I got stuck on level nine because it was hard to make a big enough portal and also because I couldn't place blocks on the right half of the screen. Luckily, you countered this by letting people skip levels! Overall this game is amazing! I wonder how hard it was to get that last screenshot and gif.🤔

This entry is so good! It fits the theme well but also is just a great game itself well done :)

the best!

Should've recognized sooner that this was made by the SquishCraft dev - I knew something about the art style looked similar lol.

Absolutely brilliant puzzle game that left me scratching my head on quite a few occasions! Level 9 was completely out of my league though lol - I had to look up how to beat it and smacked my head immediately cuz it made so much sense xD

Only problem I have is that for the sake of the jam, it doesn't feel like it fits as strongly to the theme as I've seen with other games, but that's a TINY nitpick on an otherwise perfect puzzle game that I'd definitely play as a full release! ^^

Incredibly fun and addicting. I would like some sort of indicator for directionality of portals, but I could keep playing for hours trying to figure out these puzzles. Perhaps adding a limit to the number of walls I can add would be an interesting addition or challenge mode. Fantastic Game!

I think I've got a bug - I'm playing in Chrome, working on Level 9, but I can't place squares on the right hand side of the board.  Bummed, cause I finally had an idea that was working on the left side....

Developer

ye sorry about that, still solvable but the bug can be annoying

Portals? Non-linear movement? Snake fractals? Bcat just keeps pushing the boundaries of what is even possible in puzzle games. This game is amaizng, the puzzles are great and concept is as novel as it gets. Still working on level 9 but can tell it's a great puzzle. This time the presentation is great too, the music makes the whole vibe even more wonky as I watch the snake do super unpredictable things like multiply themselves or disappear into thin air.

I absolutely loved this! (Spoiler for a wacky solution for level 10 below

Really funny game. For whatever reason the "cheat button" doesn't work, but the levels were pretty nice.

I also love your art style, I get those "Graphic design is my passion" kind of vibes from your games.

Something like that :

Didn’t go that far, but I LOVE the concept ! Also that might’ve been a nightmare to code so congrats ! The end result is very polished, although the difficulty curve didn’t feel very linear :)

You. Are. A. Legend.

For those who don’t know, Bcat is a frickin’ wizard. He makes these games with graphics that objectively suck, but it still impresses the hell outta people that play them for just how utterly insane and deranged the mechanics are. If you like puzzle games, you absolutely have to play them right now. This guy deserves way, way more attention.

11/10. This is yet another banger from Bcat, without a doubt. Mark has to see this.

Great idea, especially the last level is fun. I haven't figured out how to beat level 9 though.

Banger idea, when I got to the portals my mind was blow, really clever mechanic!

oh... OH...
This gets so cursed so fast! I love it!
There really isn't much to complain about, this is an awesome puzzle game, with simple, yet unique gimmick, and the game definitely escalates it.

This is super cool! Especially the size changing effect of the portals. Theres a similar feature in my game where changing the size of the player is just an effect of the main mechanic. And you have some great level design here!
