I always wanted to see a theatre-based game! This was quite a cool experience, and was surprisingly polished in such little time.

Minor nit pick was that the offstage area was quite small, so the actors end up jumbled together and was quite hard to select a specific actor

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, unfortunately that part of the game was one we didn’t have enough time to polish. We’ll probably do a small post-jam update that includes pixel-perfect character selection (and maybe fixed character positions), which will hopefully help :)

I never thought it would be so much fun to play a theater simulator, very good game, I can't believe you managed to do all this in such a short time, I really want to see you in the jam best games video :)

Haha, I doubt that is going to happen, but thank you so much for the kind words! :D

That's a cool tragicomedy, well done! Must have taken a lot of time to do the recordings

I laughed at the end

Thank you! :) Yeah, recording, editing and exporting probably took around 6 hours in total.

Wow - such a great, original interpretation of the theme and gameplay! It's definitely much harder to keep up than the tutorial, it could get a little tricky to drag the correct actor on stage, but overall the pacing and difficulty were excellent :) I had a lot of fun, the script and voice acting were hilarious and really well done! Great stuff!

Thanks a lot for playing our game and for the kind words! :)

Really clever setup for a game! I do wish there was a little more room offstage so I could more easily pick the correct person. Aside from that, the gameplay was simple and fun and the story was cute and charming.

Developer

Thank you! :) Yeah, backstage can definitely get a bit crowded, we might work on that a little after the jam.
