Not a bad game! The movement feels a little floaty, but other than that, this is a pretty tight platformer. Good job!
I liked it! I kept getting stuck on the 3rd level with a floor saw but it was fun. I liked that the name of the thing that killed you kept changing :)
139 deaths and 11 mins! I enjoyed the fast paced nature of it but level 3 in particular is probably where I spent a large portion of my time and deaths due to the level needing a good timing and precise platforming as well, if the movements are more fine tuned, this would be an even better game, great work!

I think keeping in mind that we devs play our games repeatedly, so what seems easy to us can be overwhelming to players. It's definitely a strong entry though! I can't wait to see what you make next!
That is very true!! There are plently of times when we see a player do something we didn't expect or see them get stuck where we thought it would be easy! It's hard to over come it
It's a fun concept but it gets a little too difficult at some points.
For example, the level with the 3 homing pitchforks is one I can't even begin to understand how to beat. I also feel the movement is a tad bit slidy, which can work. In a game like this where precision jumps are vital though, it just causes frustration.

I wasn't able to beat this one after 20 minutes, I had a lot of problems with the controls. Might be my browser but it felt like there was a slight delay on jumping (either that or I was spoiled by Celeste)
I think it might be a little of both xD Movement controls are a bit difficult to nail perfectly, but thank you for playing none the less!!
I think if there were a little bit of acceleration before getting to max speed it would make it a lot more controllable

I would have definitely added music which would have given it a ton of hellish atmosphere. Difficulty was hard but fits the game. Maybe if you had added some sort of mechanic with demons summoning you that could have helped implement the theme into the gameplay. Unique narrative, always cool to see story driven games in jams. Good job.
I wish I could have done more, but unfortunately with the little time I had I got what I could, but if I ever plan on adding more to this in the future, Music and more dialogue and maybe more demon interactions would be a MUST.
140ish deaths; that was very satisfying to get through. Even though this was pretty standard platformer gameplay, the story concept is cute, and the art was kinda charming!
