Catopia: The Reverse Realm jam comments

I thought the game was quite cute! I especially liked the cat noises in the UI, clever stuff. The game looks nice at times but some of the in-game assets look kind of weird together. The different pixel sizes on the cat, the people, and the environment could look pretty jarring at times. We were also a little confused as to what to do. We saw that you could unlock furniture and stuff but we couldn't figure out how. We mostly just collected people and weren't too sure why. We think finding a way to show how the game works while being less dependent on text could go a long way. Overall a pretty cute game, it was just a little difficult to get into.

In our game, Cats take care of humans instead of humans taking care of cats, you play as the cat and provide shelter and food.. etc to humans

A very nice idea, and I love the presentation. The gameplay is a bit repetitive and it seems to take a long time to unlock things, but it’s still solid for a jam game. Well done!

Very cute game, but after I adopt 20 e-boys I don't know what else to do. What's the unlock condition for the furniture? I noticed I sometimes unlocked them but couldn't link it to something specific.
