Recorded a vid of me playing as my final stream went a bit late again, thanks for stopping by. Overall pretty fun game with the terrain molding making for a nice twist on an auto runner. It was a bit difficult to mold in time sometimes due to a combination of the quick speed you tend to go out of the water + not much warning for fish positions but the graphics were great and the water speed boost mechanic was nice to need to play around
This feels so nice to play :D Enjoyed it a lot, and it was actually very relaxing!
Very nice entry ! It made me feel gitty and happy so it has to be good ! I can really see what you were going for and I like the concept a lot. Maybe adding a leaderboard and a timer would have finished it off, but in all honesty, this is still a 48h jam !!! Well done, I'm impressed ^-^
Very nice game, I enjoyed a lot the concept and the art. Well done
Loved the arts and music! It's very cute and relaxing!
The physic of terraforming takes a lot of effort to get used to it can be fun when you get used to it. I like it very much!
Not sure if this is just the browser version, and I'm not sure if I should click or hold to begin the terraforming sometimes I need to hold it and sometimes when you release the button the terraforming ability is still triggered, and will need another mouse click to disable it.
Oh that's strange, you should only need to hold to use it, once you release it should be disabled.
Tried to recreate it, and I think it happens when:
1. hold the mouse inside the game
2. move the mouse out of the game without releasing the holding mouse
3. release the mouse outside of the game
4. move the mouse back inside and the terraforming ability is still triggered while the mouse is released.
I tried Windows, and it has no problem.
Great presentation! The gameplay felt a bit boring... One time im managed to launch the penguin into the air for about 10 seconds... that was fun :D
Good job
Really cute art, the gameplay loop is nice but it got a bit boring, maybe you can add Boosters that the player can aim for (other than the fish) forcing the player to change up the path to finish the level quicker! Great music and SFX, the controls are nice and clear to me which is great, I got the hang of the game immediately after playing the first level! Great submission :D
Really nicely done! Just a general nice vibe. Good job!
Really nice game with awesome graphics and music!
It is very easy to play though (because you can't die and there are no real obstacles ( you can just leave your mouse behind the penguin and he will be moving, so the rock didn't really do anything)
Maybe some walls or even tunnels could be added (I could imagine a very rich background design under a glacier) You could also go into the educational niche and make it a game about how climate change effects penguins and ice (with a storyline that could potentially be heartbreaking)
Really enjoyed playing! Hope you develop this idea further! :D
Thanks for coming onto the stream to talk about your game, here's a link to the Interview;

I absolutely love the core mechanic of this game! I've only ever seen that kind of thing used in the context of "falling sand", but having it here and controlling the penguin was a great experience!
The "water boost" mechanic made me really excited about the possibilities of what else could be done in a game like this!
The "black screens" bug is definitely unfortunate, but it's an understandable issue when you don't have a ton of time to test and fix lol. Goodluck in the jam!
Very cool game, yeeting the penguin into the finish is a lot of fun! Tried my best to beat level 5, collect all fish with the purple ball, without the purple ball or no fish at all, nevertheless had a lot of fun.
Simple concept, I like the idea, but definitely somewhat tricky on controlling the penguin. Interesting take on the assets, there are some different styles going on, but overall, good job in 48 hours.
I love this concept so much, manipulating the terrain to help the penguin navigate the level is really fun, building up the momentum feels really rewarding too, maybe some more hazards or lose conditions would improve the game but visually it is stunning every aspect of the design in this game is really well made, I really love the water shader, the music is super zen and the starry sky is so pretty ♡
Really fun unique idea! And a cute art style that really fits the gameplay too. A lot of the time I relied on moving the path behind the penguin to build speed, It'd be more difficult, but I wonder what it'd be like if you could only edit the path in front ? Nicely done though!
Nice game, I would add a timer and maybe some more sound effects.
Thanks for playing!
really pretty game with a unique and fun base gameplay loop. Loved it. Great job!!!
Thank you! I'm glad you loved it!
This is lovely, scratches that latter-day-flash nostalgia itch - gives big 'Orisinal' vibes.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed!
Great game. its a lot of fun to create slopes and cliffs for the pinguin to slide off. also I dont know if its a feature or a bug but if the pinguin goes in the water he goes real fast. but I say its a feature. keep it in the game since it really fun to just launch him into space.
Great game. keep it up♥
Thanks! Yes it's actually a feature - when you emerge from water you get a little (or big) speed boost.
