Ai is way better than me at Arkanoid.

Great game! The paddle was really jittery- which I wasn't a fan of- but the game otherwise looks great and plays very nicely.

Played on stream! See the video for timestamp.

Minor physics issues aside, that was a great game.

Very interesting game! There are some issues that need some polishing, but its completely normal for a game jam. The game does its job, keep up the good work!

Maybe I'm an idiot, but I didn't realize that you're supposed to HELP the AI solve the level. I thought I was trying to make an unwinnable level that the AI couldn't beat within a timeframe, which resulted in the game breaking a little bit. By not placing blocks in the obvious place, the ball frequently got stuck in loops that took over a full minute to break, including getting stuck underneath the paddle which took about 90 seconds to clear.

That being said, once I understood that the goal is to WIN the level, the design works much more smoothly and the experience is a lot better.

With clearer instructions, this is a recommend for me, nice work!

Great idea well made!  I had a lot of fun watching the balls bounce around.  It felt like there was a bit too much space for the ball to bounce around but otherwise great job.

Pretty polished experience, some of the elements do blend together a bit; the different 'levels' of bricks for exemple, since they're shades of a similar color, it's a bit hard to distinguish which ones are at what stage. Either way still a nice game!

Pretty neat idea hate watching the ai do the heavy lifting though lol

Neat idea and great presentation, the AI would need a few tweaks here and there but that works well for a few levels!

I like this one a lot. Bonus points for using Java !!! Proving to the world that you CAN to make games in this language. The concept is very nice, I can see this as a really fun tool to do raffles on stream, similar to marbles on stream or something. Well done ! Thanks for submitting

Good idea and nice presentation but the gameplay feels somewhat annyoing at times. Would be nice to change the position of blocks once they are place. And also sometimes it takes too long for the AI to kill of one last block.

Nice presentation and nice idea! the ai froze a bit at times, and i wish it was possible to change the position of the blocks once placed, but other than that i had a lot of fun!

Neat concept, however I feel like my choices mean very little as the AI is playing the game. There would be levels where I simply sit and watch as the game plays itself for minutes on end without anything happening. Perhaps some tweaks to the AI might improve the quality of things, mostly as the biggest gripes with the idle wait was seeing the AI only try to survive rather than to complete the level (and since it would get stuck on the edges of the screen a lot).

A very satisfying game to play. My main criticism is that I never felt very in-control. I could place blocks, but I never found that any particular arrangement of blocks was significantly more likely to cause the random chaos to bounce the balls where I needed them to bounce. Basically, I was just aiming to hit a cluster of ball-multipliers and pray for the rest.

As for presentation, everything felt punchy and impactful. And I liked the coffee-monochrome look. Very polished-looking.

A little bit hard for me, but very interesting and creative! I like the automaticly moving bar. Art style is very cool!

We also made a game based on arkanoid, but it’s very cool to see how our takes on that differ

NIce idea with very polished implementation :)

Loved the coca cola colour palette

Great idea for a game, only wish there was a fast forward button to speed up the A.I paddle!

Cool game! Although the AI kept getting stuck bouncing the ball up and down in the same spot. The art and design of this game are top notch. The idea was also very well picked. Good job!
