Love the idea of being quest giver. I really enjoyed giving insane quests to weak players :D
We have some kind of this "NPC" idea too, glad someone went for it!
As a player a needed a little more feedback on my actions (i struggled to understand, whether i am assigning the right difficulty level or not. Maybe some window with "Hey, your warrior succeded, you have +40 gold!" could help)
