It's a really cool game, and definitely has a healthy amount of "Juice". The controls are simple and feel great to use, but the zombies really like to overlap with one another which takes away from feeling like you are assembling a horde. An easy way is to add colliders to each zombie and let the physics system handle it, but the performance can't handle it, you could look into using a boids algorithm to manage pathing and separation. Overall great job!
That's so fast!!
I had to take a cup of coffee to keep tracking the targets
This was surprisingly addictive. If this was a mobile game, then I'd probably spend an unreasonable amount of time playing it :)
I had some technical issues while playing (in browser) -- the game occasionally had huge framerate drops. When restarting the level, you often get insta-killed, which is slightly frustrating, though not that much of a problem.
Otherwise, reaally solid entry, great job!
I appreciate that this game is similar to the one I and my team made. Great minds! Good job on yours!
Very nice, the game, the sounds, the music and the art complement well eachother. Though getting a lot of zombies in the game makes my game lag hard lol.
Cool idea. I liked the graphics and palette, and the gameplay was easy to pick up. Though I would have liked the zombies to be less clustered into a single area, to make it seem more horde-like.
Also, I seemed to win when somewhere offscreen sometimes. E.g. I'm just picking up zombies and then I suddenly won. Are the non active zombies killing people? Or is this a bug?
I'm wondering if this could be a bit more varied with some linear level design -- i.e. having specific kinds of challenges set up for players, rather than just having them roam around a mostly open area. (Though that's perhaps beyond the scope of the jam.)
