Game could use more balance and gets very repetitive. Once you get the hang of it, you completely steam roll and will never take damage. There should be some kind of random chance/pressure that some of your buildings get removed or something else to manage. Maybe you have to convince your evil boss for more funds to develop the maze and that is abstracted out into a mini game of some kind. The user interface could be improved to have more feedback and also you could make use of the large empty spaces to give players tips/instructions if that ever becomes necessary. I did like having to bounce between the rooms and manage the cooldowns that was fun. The art was also good.

I enjoyed making the new rooms, and I wish there were more options for levels and weapons. It would also be cool if each wave got more difficult by giving the little people abilities based on their color. I'd love to see this expanded and finished! Great job!

The game was very enjoyable and the random oh god i'm dieings were hilarious. very good game

Felt enjoyable.  My two cents:

The concept is nice. Perhaps a few more elements to explain it? I didn't feel very mad-scientisty while playing, if that makes sense, it just felt like regular tower-defense stuff. Maybe make the little hero-bots look more heroe-y (with capes, or something) or make the player's cursor more villanous.

The gameplay is decent. Perhaps a bit more individuality to the functionality of the rooms? The rooms looks very different, but operate quite  similar. There seem to be subtle differences in the kill-zones of each room, but it isn't made very apparent to the player. I couldn't tell from the beginning that the fans were not that good at killing enemies that turned just around the corner. I'm not sure if that is by design, though. Ultimately, up to you, depends on how you'd execute it.

The intuitiveness of the game  felt ok, too. It mostly just requires a pump of game juice to improve in this area.

Best of luck, fellow game devs. I envy your success :) perhaps someday I will catch up

Would love to see this as a full game, like Bloons!

Very cool and chill game! The rooms were different enough and the audio felt right.

Super slick graphics! really cool concept also. Took me a second to understand what i had to do but once i got it it was super fun. Great Effort. If i had one bit of feedback would be perhaps the camera was a bit too far away initially to understand what was going on, but i'm grasping at straws here! congrats :)

Great job really like the game. The rooms could have different cool downs, and the first room is really week compared to the other two.

Well done guys! More enjoyable than most AAA titles nowadays.

I'm curious - if you continue with this game any thoughts on eventually adding upgrades to the rooms, maybe allowing them to automatically activate once every X seconds?

Developer

haha that's what I was thinking! but manual control fit better and added more interaction with this smaller form factor for now. We also were looking at a lot more trap room types

Great job on the art! I really loved the art style. I think the game would have felt better to play if you spent a little more time on the camera controller so it has more mobility. Also try making it so that when you progress into the game the waves come from different sides. Great Job overall!
