Had so much fun! Got to level 13 and the speed was making it really intense! The upgrade options, dash costing money and the choice to stay longer in the level to get more resources added interesting decision-making, nice job!
Really cool idea, and I think it would've been a good submission to the "Out of Control" themed GMTK jam a while back too.
I really appreciated the details like the red '$' particles when I dashed to really drive home what it was costing me. Good submission!
I loved the music! I would like the protector to receive some power-ups or encounter different types of enemies. Overall, it is simple and fun, just as it is supposed to be. Nice work!

A fun prototype! Good job, would be nice to see it expanded on further with more time and add unique abilities to make it more fun
I feel like the escort mission swap idea may need some more adjusting because it would probably be more fun to be the guy shooting
