The concept of being the hunted is really interesting! I think the deer being slow is actually good for what you are trying to go for. I also originally disliked the mouse movement but grew to like it, but maybe experiment with other movement styles. My one main problem is that it was hard to tell at first if something would block the laser or not, so maybe make that more visually clear. It was also hard to tell what direction the laser was coming from at first. Otherwise, great job!

thanks for playing and giving feedback! the slow movement was a last minuet bug  that we could not fix but I'm glad you found it somewhat beneficial. you make a good point with the laser obstacles, there isn't much difference between the elements in the level.

The deer was incredibly slow, would have appreciated being a little bit faster. Also maybe some cues as to where the baby deer was?

Developer

thanks for playing and giving feedback! we had a major build issue and we could not fix it properly in time so the game runs in slow motion :(

I do agree with you. having a general idea of where the baby is would help.

I love the art! The game did break a few times at the third level though
