How does your game fit the theme?
In this game you constantly reverse your roles of "Hunter" and "Prey". Mechanicaly because you switch between playing as a Photographer and a Tiger all allong the game. Also because the photographer is "Hunting" for it prey to take a picture, and the Tiger is trying to flee the forest as a prey would do.

I loved the game's setting and sound (even if you did not make it, it's still a good choice)! Also the 2D lights tones truly have something special!
Also the forest is pretty big isn't it?
I had fun with this game! My team considered making something where you play the level from 2 different perspectives but decided not to, so I'm glad to experience it through your game instead! The map feels a little big and hard to navigate without the power-ups.
Overall, really nice concept and good execution. Well done!
Thank you so much! Yes the map is indeed too big, i was afraid making it smaller would be too easy but i did too much ahah!
Interesting concept! What caught my attention was the absolutely stunning artwork!
Thank you! That mean a lot to me as it was my main focus for this game
I like the concept, the art was beautiful and the 2D lights were pretty good! Nice work!
Thank you very much for your feedback!
The drawings were pretty nice, but I swapped roles and instantly had to restart because I spawned in the light of an enemy.
Thanks a lot for your feedback! Sadly its a know bug i did not manage to fix before release (but i tried to make it not happen very often ).
Those graphism are beautifull and so original ! Really inspiring.
I managed to win on my second try by reaching the corner with both the tiger and the photographer ahah.
Thank you very much! I draw everything with a small tablet, it is really a great compliment!
Nice ! How long did it take you to do all the art with this method ? And how long for the tiger + implementation ?
I'm really curious, i have not your level in drawing, but i might give it a try on a project :)
As there is not many animations in the project i did all the art the 2nd day, i would say every drawing is like 10 to 20 min, but keep in mind it is black and white and with a cartoonish style. And i used clipstudio as a drawing software. For the tigger i used a gif a reference :p
Oh okay cool so it's worth the time too.
I mean those 2 fps really gave this game a cool feel. Good job :)!
Thx you so much!
Cool concept and nice art, I did get lost in the map lol. Overall it was fun but I think an incentive for either role would be nice, like maybe the tiger could attack the poachers for the speed boost? Enjoyed this one for sure, good job!
Thank you very much for the feedback!
I wanted indeed to make each character more unique in gameplay but did not had time.
very cool spin on the theme and very fitting, enjoyable atmosphere :) i for one did not have trouble with the font!
Thank for your feedback ! you are the chosen one, reader of the impossible font !
Nice game! Loved how it looked visually, switching from yellow to blue lighting when switching characters was a great touch. Overall great job! Enjoyed playing through as well as just looking at the art :)
the look and feel of the game communicates so well!
I did have a huge struggle of taking side of... do i want to win as photographer? or as the beast... haha interesting conundrum to have in a gameplay.
Well done!
Fun, and surprisingly well balanced! The poachers were fun to avoid, but I can't figure out why they'd poach a wildlife photographer :P
This game is a such a lovely gem. The atmosphere is the definition of less is more and the idea of balancing two contradictory goals in my head is incredible. I still ended up pushing both the tiger and the photographer into the corner to win =/
Thanks a lot ! My girlfriend used the same trick as you right away, i did not even thought about it :p
I had difficulty balancing the game, it is definitely difficult right now
Font was a bit hard to read, and the quit button didn't work. Othewise, I love the artstyle!
The art was well done, I loved the minimalist animations and the forest sounds. They fit very well together.
* IMO, the choice of Font for the controls page was very difficult for me to read
* I think the darkness, while thematically appropriate, is a little too challenging. IMO, raising the visibility range by 20% would go a long way for legibility
* The statues / environment did make getting around a little easier, though
Thank you a lot for the feedback ! I should think more about the font next time.
