Hey ! Nice submission to the jam and cool artstyle ! However I was too bad to progress too much in the level, so I couldn't find out whether there's an ending other than getting caught. Congrats on the good job :D

Really love what you guys have done here. I loved the artwork and enjoyed the music as well!

This jam and games like this one really redefine the role of "hero" in the damsel plot as "entitled prick" and I. Am. Here. For. It!

Submitted

I think this is a creative take on the damsel in distress role reversal. You're not just playing a regular platformer as a princess,  etc., but instead the role reversal has been worked nicely into the narrative of the game. The game is a bit difficult, though, as it feels like you have to know exactly when and where to use the cards. But with just a bit of reworking, I think this problem could be easily fixed!

I'm a bit confused as to what I'm supposed to do... How do I choose the cards?

Developer

You can choose them by clicking on them.

To use the Distract card, click on the map, to use either the Stun or Slow card, click on the heroe you wish to use it on. Hope this helps !

Interesting concept, wish i could know the princess path so that I could plan how to stop the heroes.

Developer

At first we were thinkin in letting you control the princess and the cards too, but it got a little too much harder to code for us, so we had to find another solution. We're also thinking we could show the actual path of the princess, we'll see how it goes.

Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate it < 3

The game it´s really amazing, the music goin to the game and that make's me enyoing when I'm trying to scape from the heroes. I really enjoy the game a lot, because of the images that appear when you lose or win and the little music that plays with them.

This is the best game I've seen on the jam so far. I can't get enough of the fail music.

The only complaint I have is that you can't see where the princess is going so you can have an unexpected fail when she starts going toward the heroes.
