A little bit buggy, but main problem I have with the game is that this concept is exactly what was mentioned in jam theme introduction video, without much spin on it. I like the graphics though, good luck on your game dev journey! :)

Thank you so much for the criticism, it really felt like I was doing that so I'm not to surprised by those feelings, I wanted to put sum simple ideas (such as particle effects, flipping and moving the screen to different sides, and also stuff like when you hit a panel a certain amt of times it will split and go to another side of the screen or smth similar to that effect) But I was also so panicked since it was the first thing i ever actually finished/made even

Cool vibe with the stars and music. Simple, yet cool & retro arcade game.

Its nice to know what features ppl like the most, all tho i do have to say the stars were not created by me in the slightest, although im still glad you like the things i chose to implement

I like the concept of the game and it fits the theme. However, upon playing the game, I found a bug that allowed you to score indefinitely whenever the ball touched the paddle's side. Still a fantastic game and a smart concept overall.

Yeah I noticed it too when I was play-testing, had no idea how to fix it but I'm pretty sure its caused by a collision issue where it wouldnt bounce off when it collides with something with the direction its moving vertically or smth, ill be sure to look into it
