The game could use some polish, but otherwise the concept and the play was fun! Great game! ♥

I like this game! I enjoyed the middle game especially, where I was still figuring out how the strategy worked but all of the powers were available to me. I think locations are randomized, which is cool. It would be nice, though, if the starting location was guaranteed to not be right next to an airplane - it makes playing through the tutorial virtually impossible, and I had to restart my first play because of that.

Yes the locations of everything is random.

> the starting location was guaranteed to not be right next to an airplane

Yes that's a good point. I think technically you could bank a few greys and send out multiple scouts at once and at least one would get through, but there's no way a new player would know that.

Oh dear lord , I played this one for way too long. Well balanced, nothing too brain-breaking but still enticed me to continue. I'd like to have had a bit more audio-visual feedback (some polish in general), but this is a Jam Entry so I feel it's well within scope ! Nice job !

This is an interesting and unique idea. Certainly the first game about an alien invasion ive seen so far. Good submission!

Cool game. It's got enough complexity for strategy.

My feedback would be to add some sound effects and polish.

Could you give me feedback on my game?

Had fun playing. As an XCOM fan, I think I enjoyed it more.

Enough strategy to be simple and interesting but not complex.

More guidance and info would nice. I lost track of how to get psi, what uses it, and how much resources cost.

Fun take on theme.

Good job!

The jets are too OP 😭
I'd love to see what this could become with more time! Loved the shaders and the fog of war!

Game was a bit confusing to begin with, but was quite fun afterwards! Maybe if you continue to work on this in the future, an in-depth tutorial would be great :)

Good game

i like that the tutorial was part of the opening stretch of the game, but there were some parts that i didn't understand until after i fiddled around with it (in a kind of frustrating way). would be nice if there was more feedback (incorrect sounds for when you try to select an action you can't do) but other than that, the gameplay for this game was interesting, it was cool trying to figure out how to maximize each of my searches

It took me a while to understand it (that's on me btw), but after that it was really great!

Nice entry! I took a little to figure out the game, but once I did it worked pretty well!

I couldn't see the game because it would get gigantic as soon as I started it.

Pretty neat. Was a little confusing at first but after a little bit I figured it out. The main thing this could use is for human forces to actively attack and for you to have to fight them off, rather than just having them defend a few specific points. As it is, once you know where a target is you can just attack it and wait it out with no danger. Still was decently fun to clear everything out though. The use of the theme is alright, but isn't super unique mechanically.

That was an intended feature I didn't have time to implement. Glad you thought it was neat.
