An interesting concept. Although I did find that overall the puzzle design left a bit to be desired. They were quite easy. Unique idea though :)
Great little game! Looked and sounded great! Would love to see more!
LOL, the last level!
Style reminds be of playing on my good old Atari 2600 with the switch box between antenna and console not quite all the way to the console!
Short and sweet, with fun puzzles. Not to hard, but not trivial either. The extra levels were also fun!
Loved the rewinding VHS effect and really appreciated watching “my” amazing shelf-stocking skills in the replay after finishing. The music added a lot and the pixel retro definitely-not-Blockbuster aesthetic was a very nice touch.
The only thing I think would add to the game right now is a stronger indicator of which way the tape will fly out. I figured it out eventually (and maybe I’m just slow, lol) but I kept expecting the tape to fly out to the left of the top right shelf on level 3.
Great visuals and sound. The puzzles were fun, but not too challenging. Great job!
Great game! If you have more time to develop this game, it be great if there was a indicator of where the tapes are going, or some versions of the tapes that functioned differently, to add some variety.
I really like the CRT effect. And an interesting idea with the music that plays the notes in reverse.
This is awesome, really fun puzzle game
Interessting concept and nice puzzler - although I don't know if the game would work differntly in normal time...
Really fun game! Enjoyed it a lot, especially the more advanced levels. Only wish that the shelves would show what direction the tapes would fire from tho. Other than that this was a very solid submission, good job!
Short and cool little game! At first, I had a hard time figuring out in which direction the tapes were going to fly, but after some trial and error, I think I got a feeling for it :D
Hey, didn't get a chance to play your game bc of Godot 4 not letting Mac users play web builds :(
Our team ran into the same issue, and we were testing on Mac, so we thought it didn't work at all and didn't push a web build. You might want to put a little disclaimer on the game page for Mac users!
Good luck with the jam! Your game looks really interesting.
I'm on a 2013 Mac (w/ Monterey installed) and this game runs completely fine, so do the other Godot games I've played. It might be an issue on your end.
Fun puzzle game. Not too hard, even the advanced levels were pretty easy, but I wasn't looking for a challenging experience so I really enjoyed my time. I was a fan of the VHS effects and the simple graphics fit well. I will say that it is hard at first to tell in which direction the VHS tapes will fly from just the shelf sprites. I caught on quickly, but the sprites look similar when rotated so it took me a second.
A simple puzzle game, even at advanced levels can be easily solved, however, I like it a lot.
Solving easy puzzles while addicting BGM looping, it's a relaxing leisure experience, would like to play it more if the developer continues to develop it after the jam.
Cool, I wanted to do something with rewinding but had no idea how!
The rewind feeling was really well-made. Could really see it as a standalone game with more polished levels. Good job!
Ok, this is actually pretty good! I really enjoyed by... uhm... by throwing cassettes? Btw, I still like arts, music and of course concept! Great work, dudes!
Nice game and interpretation of the theme. The arts were really nicely polished. Good job.
Nicely done! Good puzzles with a retro art-vibe!
The game is really creative and really fun! I enjoyed it a lot! The level design was really amazing too!
Plus the music and visuals were really nice!
