The lizard character was seen as bad whilst the kraken was seen as good, but it turns out the lizard was the good guy all along

Nicely made! I enjoyed it a fair bit. Though I wish the controls were a bit more responsive.
something i didnt notice was that jumping was tied to the attack timer/limit, so you couldnt jump until it was empty
that's most likely why it felt like that-
Cool game, even if a bit too memey and it really doesn't fit this Jam's theme that much thematically

Not the best at fighting type games but gave it my all, did manage to win some of the fights

Yeah, i didnt have much free time this weekend so I had to go for a simple arcade type game, but im glad you enjoyed it! :D
I actually really got into this haha, the grapple animation is super cute and it's fun to keep juggling on top of the kraken's head. Nice job, especially for five hours of work time!
