Nice game, really liked the swarm mechanic, and how you need to circle around if you want to keep your fish grouped.

As others have pointed out, some tutorial or hint on how to destroy boats, and some more feedback (e.g. boat hp) would definitely help to understand the game faster.

Also, the background sometimes makes it hard to know how fast and in which direction your moving (i know the fish follow the mouse, but sometimes it doesn't 'feel' that way), and it's really hard to get to the last boat (lost a lot of good fish on the way).

But overall, really cool!

Thank you so much for trying it out. Your suggestions are much appreciated.

Some tutorialization or feedback for attacking would be good because all I managed to do was kill a bunch of fish. Movement and animation is nice though

Cool game! loved the movement and how it controls

I think that with more feedback when damaging boats, it would be a lot clearer :)

At first i didnt figured out that i had to slowly aproach them so i ended up trying to ram the boats and lost all my fish when they bounced off hahah

Thanks a lot for checking it out.

Neat game, I enjoyed the controls, very clean. I think that maybe adding something for the player to do while avoiding fisherman maybe could be to collect more fish in your school as you swim around, which would increasingly make it more difficult for you to not lose fish to the fishermen. Just a thought. I had fun playing !

Nice idea and pleasently executed. GG! The music adds an adventure and relaxed vibe to it.

I really love the way the fish move, I spent a lot of time in our own game working on how the tentacles moved around our game, and I think your fish are very much along a similar vein of very satisfying to watch on the screen and how they react to your mouse. Visually very appealing motion.

I sometimes felt like the camera bounced around a bit much as my fish spun, but maybe that's part of the challenge. Overall well done, really nice look to it.

Thanks for trying it out!

Really nice idea, it reminds me of Creatures of The Sea but with the role reversed, nice work :)

The ideia is very interesting and the presentation is great. I love the way the fishes seem to move individually, like they are in some sort of hivemind. The audio is awesome in general too.

Congratulations on the project!

i like the concept of the game, playing as a swarm of fishes and taking down boats! I just wish there are more details in the game that would make the gameplay more enjoyable, like seeing how many fishes I have, the HP of boats, etc. I think the SFX for the fish damaging the ship isn't enough as I didnt know initially that I was damaging the boats, more so I was avoiding them, so having some sort of damage indicator will be good. I also follow the kill indication very quickly and lost right away.

Overall, definitely love the concept, the art and music is good! I love the fanfare style but ocean/navy version of it, I think it is very catchy. Having variation of music will be good too, like dynamic music when attacking boats, or even fighting the big boss. I think that will be amazing! Art wise, I don't know what to include to make it better, maybe having a variety of different looks for each boat types will be good.

Thanks a lot for the thoughtful feedback! Will definitely consider implementing all these suggestions moving forward. Thanks!

Just want to say, I love the music, I can listen to this the whole day. No cap, I also feel the fishes, I love the way they move!!

Great work, I enjoyed the initial gameplay loop. I wish there were some variable to mix up the gameplay a tad.

Developer

Yeah we wanted to add a lot more gameplay variables, but sadly we ran out of time. Thank you for playing it though :D

Nice idea! I feel like destroying the boats takes a little too long in the beginning. A healthbar for the boats would also be helpful as I was not really sure if I was doing any damage to them in the beginning. I really like the movement of the fish swarm!

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Great game! Looks really nice and I love how the fish move. It got a little frustrating with my fish bouncing into the kill zone while I was attacking boats, but that seems like it would be pretty simple to tune if you decide to develop this further. Nice work!

its not a bug, its a feature!

Great game! Healtbars or signs of ship destruction may be useful. And the boss is moving just a bit too fast. One time I followed it for two minutes doing nothing else, just to find it. Maybe it really should move towards the player once they gain a lot of fish. As if the crew noticed a shoal of fish and tried trawling it. And lose interest after there is almost none of the fish left, giving player an opportunity to increase the shoal again.

Loved the music and animations!

Developer

I appreciate these suggestions a lot. Thank you!

Oh, and also the exit button is needed for desktop version

Interesting concept and fun visuals! I was a bit confused on what to do in the beginning since there were no clear instructions, but it was fun to play regardless!

Developer

The feedback is much appreciated!

Really simple and satisfying to control, it's just fun to see the swarm of little fish destroying and ending people's lives :D

Glad you liked it!

It's quite addictive when you get the hang of it! Though it feels less polished than it really is. Taking down one of the small ships takes too much effort, so much that I had to read the comments to make sure it was possible at all. I think it's also a bit too easy to lose some fish in the process. I guess if the ships were less tough but some would actively come after you it may be better. Good job!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback.

Good game! The gameplay is simple and fun and the art is good. But for me the best are the sound effects, they add a lot to the game!

Developer

I appreciate this comment. Thanks.

Very nice game

Must say I love the music, it just bring so much to the whole experience !
The control were very intuitive so it felt nice very quickly.

I found myself lost in an empty ocean a couple of time for a while which was starting to feel a bit odd but I always met some new stuff before too long.

Great work, props to all of you !

Developer

Thank you so much!
