I got this feeling that this game defines a set of clear rules and then the game designer and player complete it together. This is fun. Great pixel art and music choice too. Love it.

Thank you very much!

Great game! Really liked the concept, although there should be some kind of block limit since most levels are extremely easy to beat- the unbreakable block could also be very useful in designing more challenging levels. I enjoyed the game regardless!

Neat concept and pretty good execution; there were a few (non-game breaking) bugs like being able to place blocks on the flag and where the player spawns, you can cheese levels like the mountain one by placing blocks outside the intended area (going underneath from the left side and then across the bottom then push the player up on the right side)

a few things I wish this game had is a limited number of blocks (and/or deletion) the user can do, more substance (other kinds of blocks to place (like springs) (which could cost more), or other game factors (like wind))

maybe a mode where you actively deter the player from winning could be fun, idk

Placing on the flag and spawn was something I knew you could do, but I didn't see a reason to disallow it. Also, the solution you used for the mountain one was not cheesing it, since I also thought of and did that during play testing. It was nice to leave multiple solutions and room for different interpretations. I appreciate your suggestions and if I do continue the game I will definitely incorporate at least some of them. Thank you very much for playing and for your feedback!

Really cool, and I love seeing the character bounce around in whatever overengineered solution that I made.

I do think the sound for placing blocks is too loud though, when you drag across the screen it is kind of painful. But that is really minor, and the only issue I really had.

I agree with you, after I tried it on a different device, I discovered that the blocks sound can be very annoying at times. Thank you for enjoying it!

Very nicely done.  I really like how well you onboarded the player.  Good stuff.

Thanks!

The pixel art graphics are amazing! Impressed! The music and sfx go well toghether. Though the player can be very stupid at times, the player AI is good.

Developer

Yes there are some issues with the player but it is satisfactory for 48 hours. Glad you liked it.

Definitely the best take on "reverse platformer" I've seen so far. I appreciate you being brave enough to let the player make their own choices, rather than dictating a solution - I think that's a much better route than forcing one solution per level. I do think you could have been a bit more forceful in the last level -  I would have made the distance between platforms less wide, so that building a straightforward staircase wasn't still the best solution. I just made a really big staircase, but it seems like it would have been more interesting to make me go back and forth between the solid platforms. That's a minor quibble, though, and this is a great game.

Developer

Yes, level design wasn't the best and is certainly not my strong suit. But, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Very Good Game. Balances action and puzzle mechanics very well. I really liked how concepts are introduced quickly and clearly. Good Job!
