I always thought Tower Defenses was a reverse idea already, where you play as the stage, not the players. You just reversed the revere!
Great idea, but some stages I could clear by only keeping the left button pressed.
Good job, and a good use of the theme with a simple yet effective mechanic. Adding a feature to provide feedback to the player when the towers shoot would be a nice addition.
This made me rage! I would've loved some checkpoints. But it was very fun nonetheless, also the turrets aiming was very jittery. Other than that, great job!
Could you rate my game? I would really appreciate it, thanks!
Love the simple controls and all the different tower variations, great work!
The really simple control scheme ended up making the game more interesting! Each tower having unique AI made it difficult to progress, but it was satisfying!
I think the concept is very clever. You have a straight path which you have to follow which is very interesting because you have to dodge in unique ways and learn the enemy patterns. I really liked the white tower, as you can't keep holding left click but have to adjust your movement. However I do think the game is very difficult. Even some of the first levels can be pretty tricky and it only gets harder. Some towers like the blue one feel really hard to understand and dodge. Being able to skip levels was a great feature though, to prevent beeing stuck.
Overall, really cool game!
The game was great fun. Even though I didn't got through all levels. Sometimes it felt a bit punishing (Having your shadow past darting next to you could be a nice way to see how you actually progressed would be fun). Adding more features like upgrades or even downgrades for more point could be an option, too. Maybe controlling more than one could also be interesting. For example as an easy mode, where all or a just one previous runs walks with you and you can see whether the you and your past together could be enough to overrun the defenses.
Nice concept! Game needs a little polishing but aside from that there's potential. Nice work! :)
Not much to do besides holding the mouse down. I really like the idea. I wonder if there were a way to equip the player with things that deflect tower bullets or make towers battle each other or something to add a bit more depth to the game.
great idea & a lot of fun
