Interesting idea! I love the fact that you have a sound and music bar, not many submission have that. But there are two things that hurt this game, firstly there needs to be more thought put into how the ui is displayed and secondly, I spent a while trying to figure out what the heck was going on here! Great job, and a very cool concept though!
Also could you rate my game? I would really appreciate it, thanks!
This concept is a bit ambitious for the time frame of the jam! congratulations on the final result as it is a nice playable game
As someone who has nearly the same concept, I almost fell into the same pitfalls as this one. If there’s a bit of research on tetris AI beforehand, this could be more likely if the one who places gives more chance to clear lines.
Despite making it really hard to clear lines, I’m actually glad you added a preview of where things are placed. Though the timer clearly needs to be extended a bit to give more time to think.
How are you supposed to get a full line ? The inputs don't stop leading to the worst spots of the game and you are resorted to keep using line and square pieces.
I really liked the concept here, it's just too bad I suck at it lmao
I played the game and read what you put. This could have been really cool, but things didn't turn out that way. However, what you have here still shows something even though it's incomplete. The way the game is set up now, it's a game where it could be played as trying to get as many pieces as possible without getting to the top. Now that wasn't intended, but that could possibly be a fun game mechanic. Add a leaderboard and a counter for the pieces, and now you have a game. Of course, you can't edit it now, but maybe you find value in this potential side mode.
Interesting game, show preview option make it easier to play cause iam too dumb to process what the result of inputs
Oh this is an interesting concept and tetris has been redone a million ways so props to that, I think you recognize its a bit unfinished and needs some balancing making a tetris playing ai is no easy task I assume. Good job, and good luck if you continue the development.
I like this take on Tetris for this prompt. I do think the timer should be lengthened or removed, because of the lack of intentionality. With that, I do think move previews would do well, so instead of block previews in normal tetris, you can see the moves for the next block, or the one after that, which would add an extra element to the planning ahead I think. Cool submission!
Finally we can control the arrival of the I ! Nice concept !
Nice game! It's a bit hard to strategize with the "next inputs", plus I felt the time given to select a piece was maybe a bit short (at least with the mouse dragging), but overall it's a neat idea executed well enough. Great job!
really cool idea! its a bit hard to be actually good at the game, but i really like the concept!
Great game idea! Good job getting the visualization for where the next block is going to land too!
It took a bit before I realized how the instructions were on the left side. (Or more accurately, what they did haha!)
nice game with tetris. it crash when back
Nice Idea but The Back To Menu button doesn't seem to work... did I find a bug?
I liked the idea, the gameplay has little feedback, it was a little difficult to understand if some commands were working.
I get a game over after the first block gets sent regardless of what I do. Good idea tho
