I love the idea and also how you carried it out. It is fun to watch the actual game. Good artwork at that. I had difficulties with the booing, dodn't know exactly why. But it was a glorious victory for my team.

Unique idea and big props to using SVG. My favorite part was the in game explanation of how to use shift. 🏳✈

Interesting concept ! Simulating a football match is impressive. However, it could be great to have more visual impact in order to know how the public is impacting the players.

Interesting idea! wasn't that clear how much what the fans are doing impacts the game though.

Very fun, It would be even better if the effect the controls have on the game were made more clear

I rated 93 games so far and this is definitely one of the most original games. Congratz.

This was a great atmosphere, haha. Good game!

I reallly love the concept, and thanks for putting it that's actually QWERTY and QWERTZ compatible

Submitted(+1)

hahaha this is great! love the idea and if not for the game play just for booing and cheering for fun.

I don't think I've ever seen a soccer game this exciting! Great concept and execution. (My team did win 7-5 -- no doubt because of the fans -- so maybe biased opinion.)

This is glorious - what a brilliant and original idea! Of course, there are issues here (more predictable player pathfinding would help) but it's a great start for a jam game! Loved it!

Surpisingly i had a lot of fun playing this game, well done!

That's one original idea in a set of games I met!

Thank you! I actually spent the first few hours of the jam just coming up with ideas. This was the top one of 17 :P

I rather don't count the set of ideas we gather on our board.... 😁 It wasn't a easy theme.

Very clever idea!

Really cool entry! Very impressive that the football is actually simulated - I assumed everything was hardcoded until I read the description. I think Blue would get top 4 in Serie A.  Great idea! :)

Amazing concept, love me some sports games.

Really enjoyed this one, simple yet engaging.

Add some sort of display to the zones or the actual players that are getting buffed/debuffed i think would have help with some decision making. Sometimes im not 100% sure if I'm making an impact or not.

Flesh this out a bit and add some rougelite treasure in-between each match and I could play it for hours!

Great Job!

Oh yeah. The game definitely lacks some more visual indicators. My idea was thought bubbles above players e.g. "I'm in the zone!" or "They love me!", but this didn't make the cut :(

Submitted(+1)

This is clever, and a solid entry. The theme comes together and it reminds me of going to stadiums and feeling the crowd.

Frankly, building an entire football sim on a "no u" gamejam is very impressive. Good work :)

I found this quite fun actually! Not seen this concept done before and this is very impressive in the short timeframe. Only improvement would be if there was a replay button after a game to quickly start a new match. Good job!

Developer

Thank you. I considered adding it but decided that refreshing the browser is good enough and prioritized polishing other areas. The 48 hour time frame is very short!

Submitted(+1)

Yeah that 48h really was a tough goal! Solid work in the jam!

I laughed when I understood! loved the sound effects.

Developer

When I found the sound effect for cheering I knew I had to use that one!
