Super unique idea! One of the most unique takes on unnatural time flow I've seen!
this is a fun and unique concept!
Really cool idea executed well. Thought the reversed sounding music was a nice touch.
lmao, the idea is so fun, never thought of such a thing. great game to speedrun!
Super super cool idea. I could see this being further developed into something awesome. Time bending mechanics are my fave. Great work!
Cute little game and neat idea. It could definitelly be expanded further especially on the side of paradoxes, such as creating obstacle courses where you can only cross a certain path or only land on a certain platform once. Reverse time lends itself really well to puzzle mechanics and I figured this could see a lot more of those as well, such as one-time use springs to simulate landing from big heights and such. This would've most likely been too much for the time restraints but being able to see the whole level replay at forward speed would've been a fantastic way to end a level.
Really cool idea. Leaving the collected coins behind and that not beeing allowed to touch them again is a great idea! Maybe have the time also run backwards as a time limit, seems like that would fit to.
This is really really cool! There’s a lot of clever ideas here, like the reversed coins, bullets and life counter. It’s a great touch that the music itself is in reverse as well.
I did encounter some frustrations with the unforgiving coin paradox mechanic, which while I think is conceptually very cool, does punish the player quite harshly for a small mistake. Jaco van Hemert suggested a paradox meter, and I agree with that solution!
Very clever! It felt a like a nod to Braid but with its own mechanics. I really like the idea, though there are some parts of it that can get a bit frustrating. Part of it is the precision required combined with the one-hit death part. Maybe if there was like a paradox meter that you fill up as you make mistakes to make it a bit more forgiving? Maybe two or three chances?
The platforming felt very "heavy", for lack of a better term. Up and down goes very fast, which adds to the difficulty in precision (perhaps on purpose?). I also would have liked some more forgiving hitboxes for the coin collections. Sometimes it felt like I was jumping past a coin but still collected it.
I loved the detail of the princess always moving backwards; that was nice. And having the coin counter and HP in reverse was very cool, though it was unclear whether that needed to be met by the end? (It didn't seem like it did.)
