Challenging but extremely fun, this game is very polished and the art is amazing. The controls are a bit awkward on the keyboard, but it's still super addictive.
Thanks a lot!
Controls are definitely something we need to polish, but happy it got you hooked nonetheless ;)
I loved this. Very imaginative concept and creative gameplay. Well done!
Thanks a lot, happy you liked it!
Really cool game! Took my e a while to get the hang of it. One issue I encountered is that I wasn't able to place the small platforms near the edge, so at one point my guy just fell down like 3 floors bcs I couldn't place anything underneath him. Also idk if it's just me but controller input didn't work for me.
Thanks for playing!
The edge thing is on purpose to avoid stacking all the platforms on one side, but it definitely needs some fine-tuning and maybe an explanation.
Controller should work... DId you play on the browser or download the game?
I played on the browser version. The controller thing was an issue on my end, I managed to fix it.
Great, thanks for replying!
really adorable art, and well polished gameplay!
really enjoyed the game, nicely done :)
Thanks, happy you enjoyed it!
I appear to have gotten the camera stuck on floor 63, I think it happened due to to the character having picked up a toooon of momentum
Outside of that, did another good run and got to 206, I don’t know what the target floor is to get to the end screen shown in the screenshots, but I think I did pretty well!
Placing platforms on top of the lil guy to make him pick up a ton of speed was super satisfying and I ended up doing a lot more runs than I expected. This game has a very nice addictiveness to it, haha. I do wish that the platforms also bounced from below, it would have been pretty funny to accidentally throw the guy back down! I ended up just ignoring the bubbles sadly because they overwrite the momentum the noob picked up so far. They would have been pretty fun otherwise! The slow-mo was a great mechanic and allowed some crazy momentum building!
I had a really nice time with this game! Great job!
Thanks for the feedback!
Yes,it seems you can pick up a bit too much momentum :P Will need to fix that (cool art composition, btw ;).
Having the platforms actually bounce you back down (instead of just stopping you) is a cool idea, might just do that if we polish it!
I think 206 is the highest score so far, congrats!
Happy you had fun playing :D
What a unique concept! Really enjoy the overall aesthetics of your game, super well done!
Thanks!
The physics felt really satisfying (I liked the bouncy balls ^^)! There was a dead spot on both ends where I couldn't move the platforms (unless that's intentional?), but it wasn't too hard to adjust once I found that out. Fun game :D
Thanks for playing!
Yes, the dead spot was intentional to avoid players just stacking platforms on one side, not sure if it's the best solution...
Fun idea. Keyboard controls are a bit annoying. Mouse would probably be more fun. Putting controls on title screen would be nice. Also it's possible to get the guy stuck in a platform with the physics which is a lil annoying.
Thanks for playing!
Yep, there are a number of things to tweak and polish, we'll get to it sometime after the jam ;)

Really fun idea and great implementation! At first I was annoyed that I was thrown right into the action without warning but it didn't take long for me to grasp what I was supposed to do so I forgive you. I think this game would work really well with mouse controls (move to cursor position and place with left click).
Great job!
Thank you for your forgiveness!
We're thinking about mouse-control, but we'll need to test it out a bit to see if it works ;)
Exciting! Give me a heads up if you implement it ;)
nice game, can be released on mobile probably? would be a great time killer
Thanks!
That's very good game, wow.
Is 18 a good score ?
Have a nice day and thanks for this superb game.
Thanks!
18 is... a score...
:P
Hahahaha :D
Amazing idea! I saw sometimes the little guy glitching in my tiles, but there is nothig wrong with that (since this is a game jam), and the game also always restore its state correctly, so good job on this! Just to be sure, check every frame of the little guy animation, because probably there are some extra white pixels sparse around where they should not be. Anyway this is another small issue, nothing particularly bad or dangerous.
Thanks for the feedback!
The graphic glitch seems to be an issue with godot and rotating AtlasTextures, we checked and double-checked the sprite-sheet and there are no extra pixels :/
I love the premise and the way it wraps up the game's core mechanic -- just watching that little guy get bounced higher and higher made me happy, and their comments on their progress in the game made me laugh outright. Apparently the balance of my game is a bit off, but I had a great time all the same!
Thanks for playing!
Yep, balancing a game just right is hard work! ;)
Love the idea, and the execution is great. Overall great submission :)
Thank you!
Wow! This feels like... it feels like, like Tetris! Like a firefighting squad from game&watch! Like pinball! The fusion of these designs is absolutely amazing! I absolutely love it! well done!!!
Thanks a lot!
Looks like we took inspiration from more games than we realized, which is cool! ;)
This is a really clever and well executed idea! I love that the tiles get weirder as you get further as well, and the anti-pickups are genius! well done
Thanks a bunch!
Our thinking was that positive pickups would be 'for the player', so they wouldn't fit our game. Hence 'bugs' to avoid ;)
very tough!
Yep ;)
Nice game! My little brother and I had a lot of fun competing with each other for high scores.
Thanks, happy you had fun!
So who got the highscore?
Nice to see another tough game! I love the little quips that play after you lose each time. This would make a really great mobile game, and I think people would play it for real outside of this jam.
Great work!
Thanks a lot!
We're thinking of going over it again after the jam, and comments like yours really help to motivate us!
