Hands-down one of my favourite games this jam! Fantastic job for this being your first ever entry!
There’s really not a lot I can criticize here. I guess a flash effect after taking a photo might be funny and something like pose bonuses a la Pokemon Snap would be cool, as well as having more levels. But the things that are there are great! Character movement feels good, artwork is sweet and gameplay is just such a lot of fun. Seeing the photos on the end-screen is the cherry on top of it all.

Thank you! I did briefly try a camera flash effect but it felt more annoying than anything so I just stuck with the sound effect. I definitely would've done poses if I had just slightly more time though!

Got 800 after two tries, very simple and nice game and well polished. I really like the concept and the sounds are extremely cute! Even the end game menu is very polished, the photos at the end give you a very nice objective to look after to.

I think it would have been cool to have a little effect and be able to see in game for a second the photo ive just photobombed besides having all the photos with scores at the end.

fun!!! It's pretty polished too and the penguins are very funny.
I've had some movement bugs, especially when going down the platform, but nothing particularly annoying. My favorite moments was when the picture frame was in the air and you have to timed a jump to get in the picture haha.

Thank you! I realised pretty late that I didn’t have a way for the penguin to drop down the platform and ended up implementing it in a really janky way (game stores the platform you’re on, down button turns off that platform’s collider until your feet collide with another platform) which sort of works if you hold down unless the platforms are really close together like the ones on the right. If I decide to release a post-jam version I will definitely fix it though!
This game looks really nice. Specially the game art's so beautiful. Also the selection of music matches with overall look. Gameplay is also well thought and fun to play.

I really liked how you included situations in which you had to time your jump to get into the picture, awesome design! And I was not expecting it to actually show me the pictures at the end. So cute!
And I agree with others. If you ever think about expanding the concept, poses would be a great addition! Maybe using a specific pose depending on a cue to maximize points could be cool.

It feels like duck hunt but different. GG! I loved the cute penguins. Would you be willing to add after the jam a "Pose" button where you press p or something, and you play a cool animation of the penguin being cute! GG!
Thanks! A lot of people have requested the pose feature and I did want to add it but didn’t have the time, will definitely add it in if I decide to update the game for the post-jam :)
good take to the theme! this could easily many levels! as said from the previous comments i think the timing is too fast and sometimes its hard to catch the timing! would be better if there is some visual effects like zooming in and out for the photo taking!

Great cute game! I love this one, especially the cute sounds, though i found it sometimes hard to get to the pictures, maybe like +1 or so seconds would be already enough, but overall great game!

Pretty fun game, I like the photography mechanic and the fact that those are legit snapshots with player position and everything (really nice touch). My high score was 740.
My only feedback is that sometimes it was a little hard to drop down from platforms without going the long way round.
As far as presentation goes, the game looks adorable and is super clear, I always knew where I had to run to next.
Overall, great work.
Thank you! Yeah I’m not happy with the platform drop mechanic, might have to take a look at how other games implement it since I kinda just made it up on the fly. One more thing for the to do list!

Cool game! I could see how this could be expanded with levels that make it harder to get to the goal in the given time or maybe collectables that give more points or requiring point thresholds to complete levels. Very creative idea!
