Really Enjoyed the game. Such a unique concept!
Thanks for playing!
I really like the artstyle
That's the cool gameplay and the art/style looks awesome the game!
Well done:)
Thanks for playing!
Wow that was really satisfying!
I love the controls and smooth gameplay :)
and this "hey" is kinda fun to do!
Thanks for playing!
Great idea and clean art style! Love it!
Thanks for playing!
Congratulations! Great job!
Thanks for playing!
Amazing aesthetic and a really good polished well round gameplay, amazing entry, congratulations
Thanks for playing! Thank you for the praise!
Beautiful color palette, as many have said! Pretty fun game, although I did end up getting stuck on corners quite often. I liked how the intruders would fade away, like i was forgetting where they are. Great job!
Thanks for playing! Sorry about the awful collision lol, I need to use circles more haha
I actually had an idea just like this!! Super cool execution, and i love the colour pallet used.
Haha, great minds think alike! Thanks for playing!
Although totally neato, not really sure how this is role reversal
Thanks for playing! It's supposed to be a role-reversed stealth game. So instead of sneaking around guards, you are one. In hindsight, the idea doesn't seem as cool and original as I thought it would be. I originally wanted to do an anti-hitman where you would go to lengths to stop an assassin instead of being one but in the end, I ended up with this lol.
It's a very good idea this guy just leaves crazy comments on good games, just click on his profile and check out other comments he made on these jam games...
just my poor attempts at constructive criticism
Very cool idea, it was stylish and clean. You hinted at it in your comments, but I'd love to see a deeper dive into the mechanics.
Thanks for playing! The project feels justified in having a revisit although not sure when it will be if ever haha.
This is such a nicely polished game! I love the little yells you do when trying to catch the intruders. Also, it's crazy how you packed so much in just 48 hours!
Thanks for playing! It does seem like a lot. I kinda wish I honed in a bit more on some things instead of going for quantity haha.
Really cool idea! The artstyle was clear and consise as well! Great game!
Thanks for playing!
I liked the simple art style. It played into the security guard/flashlight style game really well. I thought the inclusion of keys and the CCTV system to gate rooms and extend gameplay further was a really smart inclusion to add extra depth to the concept. Well put together!
Thanks for playing! I wish I put more time into the CCTV implementation but oh well.
Recognized this art palette immediately since I've used it in a game before haha. Amazing design and presentation, love it. Please check ou my game as well!
Haha another LOSPEC enjoyer! Thanks for playing! Your game is awesome holy moly. Really creative and interesting!
you see Noire Truth, you know its a good game
The art style is superb and I really think the game design could be further expanded for a fully fledged title.
Thanks for playing! I might look into a DX version down the road I sorta like what I came up with here
Wonderful presentation and a cool concept. The control scheme is pretty annoying though.
Thanks for playing! Yea, the controls could be better (especially behind-the-scenes codewise haha). If you missed it there is an option in the pause menu that can change it. Otherwise, thanks for the feedback!
Ooh I did actually miss that setting (well, I missed that there was a pause menu at all). Honestly that was my only real issue with the game so great job!
I really liked it but I'm either too dumb or the last 2 levels are unbeatable. Overall, really nice ;D
Thank you for playing! I'll be honest the last two are a fair bit tougher than the rest haha.
Stellar presentation on this one! I love how well you executed this concept, and it was a great interpretation of the theme. The vector art is lovely and music and audio design sell the atmosphere well.
Thank you for playing! Thank you for the praise also! I really need to look into pixel art tho I think the grid would benefit me lol
big brain play is to make your assets in vector and then use a pixelation shader 👀
Hmm maybe...
Clunky controls, didn’t get used to them although I’ve finished the whole game. Most times I’ve felt like i have lost not because i’ve done something wrong, but because of the controls. Anyway, witty idea, aesthetics are amazing, game design is quite strong too! Really good game jam game and quite lenghty too!
Edit: Just now I found out about changing the controls layout in settings (at first I thought that it is for rebinding the controls, not changing how they work, so I didn’t bother). It is more intuitive that way, but still.. something is a little bit off about controls here (maybe because I got slightly used to previous “not too comfy” layout? dunno at this point ¯_(ツ)_/¯ )
Thanks for playing! Might need to spend more time tuning my controls next time. I feel the game needs a bit more hinting especially on more representative levels like 9 (EVERYWHERE). If you haven't already you can try switching the control layout by pressing ESC. Thank you for the feedback!
