This was very cool! Always love the games where the main gimmick is that your main method of attack just so happens to be after you. Loved the whole old-school vibe the graphics had. Great entry!
Really great entry! I wasn't sure at first how the game fit the theme, but then I saw where it was going and it all clicked. That's clever! And it makes a really fun and challenging shooter arena too. I also loved the aesthetic, great mix between 80s visual and bizarre dream tone. It creates a cool universe, on top of being readable!

Game play is exciting and actually hit home in a personal way.

The nostalgia part aside, what a well executed and polished game.
Great submission! I never got on the leaderboard, but I had a lot of fun trying! The polish was nice, and the upgrades were all a really fun mix of making it easier to hit enemies, but also making it more difficult to dodge your own bullets.
The premise is wacky, and gameplay is great! There's a couple nice risk/reward mechanics that work in the games favor nicely like trying to get close to enemies to get the turret to hit them and also choosing how to upgrade your turret to deal enough damage to clear the enemies while still being able to maneuver through the onslaught of enemies and projectiles.
i managed to get 9th on leaderboard after a bunch of tries xD
