Interesting concept! Confusing at first but fun nonetheless. I absolutely adore the art style! It stands out a lot.
Thanks for the feedback!
Interesting concept, took a little while to understand the "goal" of the game butt he UI and theming is great!
If I had more time, I would've implemented a how to play option on the menu to help the player understand the game's goal. Thanks for your input!
A really fun idea! Well executed and I thought the art style was really fun! Switching between the two states with a seamless transition felt REALLY good, I liked swapping between them just for the heck of it. The only critique I'd have is for the game to be a little bit more punishing; I never really felt too concerned about having too little fun or having too little blood. That being said, it's hard to make a well balanced game in 48 hours, and the technical feat in this is really great! Good work, you guys should be proud of yourself!
Thank you for the feedback! The health bars both decrease faster over time, but I think I made them decrease a bit too slowly.
This was pretty fun, nice job! Adding the option to hold the fire button would help with some finger strain.
Thanks! I regret not making it hold to fire as well 😞. Definitely one of the first things I'm changing if I continue to work more on this game.
Aaaaaa this is one of the best art directions I have seen, very good execution too on the mechanics. I love how it changes cameras between roles
Thanks! I knew before the beginning of the jam that I wanted to try using paper & doodling instead of pixel art for a change. I also felt that the camera switching would help emphasize the different gameplay styles!
I needed time to notice that there was a button to change roles but the art style and the concept is really great. I would like to see this as a 2 player game.
Thanks for the feedback! I never even considered multiplayer but I think it's an interesting idea!
One of my favorite games so far this jam! Took me a second to understand what was happening but the act of playing both sides, and trying to push my own limits with as many enemies as i could was an absolute blast. Great simple yet very fun idea and great execution!
Thanks, glad you liked it!
Cool idea and cool art! It would've been great if we could hold to attack as a vampire and obtain some sort of power ups throughout the game. Good job!
Thanks for the suggestions! I think powerups would make the game more interesting for sure!
