Neat idea, was a bit hard to determine specifically figure out what I was doing. But it was fun moving around the boats and monsters
Neat game! Addition of some new island types with defense systems in the post jam version would add a nice layer of complexity to the game. But a really ice game nonetheless!
Very nice game! I really like the idea and it looks great!
A unique take on the theme! Quite an enjoyable experience. The art style was great too. Congratulations on your submission!
Thank you for your comment!! I’m so glad you liked the art style <3
Unique idea! It simple and works really well. The polish of this game is excellent and the it works surprisingly well. I really enjoyed this game!
I have a small suggestion, however, perhaps making the monster unable to leave the scene would make the game much better.
Other than that, great job!
Your feedback is much appreciated and taken into account!! Thank you so much ^^
Very interesting idea! I had a great time!
Great play on the theme, the game is quite fun as well!
I really like the idea, would love to see it expanded!
Thanks!! Definitely a game we can totally expand for sure
Interesting idea for a game! Only thing I would change is the speed of the game, because everything just moves really slow (maybe it's just on my computer that slow, but I would still change it).
Thanks!! Totally noted, we made it quite challenging to play already so perhaps the speed changes things up a bit
Super creative to have the player take control of the very physics of the game.
Thank you so much ^^!!!!
Simple yet fun! I love how the current interact with the ships and the monsters!
Thank you!
I liked the artwork and I thought it was a really creative concept, however the gameplay ramps up in difficulty way too fast! I think the ships should start slower and then as the game progresses they rise to the amount the game starts with. Perhaps I'm playing it wrong, but it's very hard to take them all down with only 1 monster at the beginning. Overall though, I enjoyed playing it.
No you were almost certainly playing the game correctly. To be completely honest we kinda missed the difficulty climb. After submitting, it turned out that the game becomes almost impossible at around 1:20. I later went in and seriously lowered the difficulty which made it play much nicer but I guess it's too late for that now.
One thing I would advise though is to play on the downloadable build instead of the WebGl one. It's more up to date and the fluid sim doesn't lag it up as much.
In any case, thank you for your feedback!
This is really cool!
Impressively good game!
Very smart idea and it was implemented very nicely.
I didn't understand how my health changes overtime. It would pretty cool if taking down ships regenerate health. Maybe they do, but I didn't notice it.
Thanks for the feedback! Yes sinking the ships refills your health bar and letting them through to the ports drains it. The downloadable build has poppup indicators to make that more intuitive in case you want to try it.
I think it would be better if currents made from dragging the mouse disappeared faster, so I could better control where the sea monsters go, but the graphics and overall gameplay are really nice, well done!
Thank you for the feedback!
Amazing game but there were no greasy men moaning so 2/10 overall
My bad we ran out of time right when I was adding them.
The game runs much better on the downloadable build so I suggest you play it there!
