Great concept! When I saw your game I thought it was going to be similar to the Don't Escape series from Scriptwelder, but I enjoyed this unique take on it.

I struggled with the controls (felt like I couldn't really place traps, like they wouldn't appear most of the time. And the freeze action didn't really seem to work but would deplete my energy) but I thought the concept is very cool and I like the presentation. Really neat idea but the controls could use more polishing.

This was a lot of fun. I really liked the mood of the whole thing.

Oh wow, this has to be the most fun game i played of this whole jam, excellente!

really good idea and execution.

Graphics and music are good too.

Overall an amazing submission!

Very neat concept and execution. Seems like you had more levels planned (third screenshot), but ran out of time implementing it. Too bad, I would have enjoyed playing it.

Yeah you have no idea how angry I am. Level is completely prepared, but we had no time to test times for the level and times for tasks, so we could not tell if the level was possible to finish or not. :/

Really good take on the theme, could see this being great if expanded even further into a full game. Loved the artwork and music, really set an interesting mood.

Hits the theme super hard, well done! I particularly like messing with the participants on this one. Reminds me of the movie Cube. Great job!

At first I tried to place Sticky glue and pit. Then I realized that constantly freezing Jennifer in level 1 and James in level 2 was easier. Nice concept !!

Developer(+2)

Poor Jennifer... she did not deserve that!

You nailed the theme! I like the concept but for me the timings was too slow and energy regeneration also too slow that I can only use stun for the players. Good job anyway!

It was enjoyable, the art style was unique, though the camera controls could use some work.

Good take on the theme, and well executed!

Very Nicely Combined. Good Job!

The idea is really unique and I feel like it could be turned into a great full game! However it was a bit buggy for me, I couldn't click the abilities a lot of times, or I tried to place them and it didn't work.. or maybe I just didn't understand how to play?

One idea I had to make it more exciting is to shorten the timer. Maybe each NPC solves one task and after that, they win? And your job is to stop them?

I liked that there is voice acting btw :D

Cool game! Some thoughts on it:

I think the artwork for the actions looked really cool in the instructions, but in-game they were a bit too compressed/tiny to appreciate the details. I also think the visuals in general could've been improved by adding some dark and dramatic lighting (basically like the cover image, which by the way looks very good).

The concept is creative, and the implications it brings are intresting. However, I did find the timer-based gameplay a bit tedious, as it involved some waiting around with not much to do (tho I have absolutely no idea how that could've been improved lol, pretty hard problem design-wise). The sounds and music really added a lot tho, the texture and atmosphere they generate make you want to keep playing.

Great job! Cheers.

Interesting idea and sounds great!

This game is pretty interesting. It could do with a bit more mechanical depth though, because as it is, it’s easy to just keep one NPC from finishing their task indefinitely while the others wait at the exit. Still a good effort for 48 hours!

This is an interesting take on the theme. I like how the art of the powers makes them seem sort of sinister. Great job!

great work

I love the story very much, such a vibrant idea to set it into the world of escape rooms :)! I wish there were some tasks for the escapees to do which involve a bit more movement, would make great use of the player's powers. Bugs there are many and they do hinder the gameplay, especially when it comes to visual feedback… But I'm sure they are easy to fix after the jam is over :). Well done!

The laugh and eerie sounds at the beginning help set the tone, well done there.  After reading the comments I noticed someone did the same thing I did - freezing one person over and over.  A time-cooldown would be useful to stop people from abusing one ability.  I like your take on the theme!
