Wow, nice game, I loved it. The only weird thing is that I've been able to retreat even after all my troops died, but it did not impact the game that much (I lost against the last castle anyway haha). The art style is amazing as well as the sound design. Well done!!

The issue you are talking about was a choice when releasing the game for the jam because we did not want the player to feel like he lost his retreat for this level without clicking on the button. It will be added in the post jam version because you are not the only one to find it weird.

This one specs it all on execution and polish instead of an original idea. Saying that, I immensely enjoyed my time with the game, more so than other jam entries! The retreating mechanic does add that bit of extra depth to make this one. I couldn't really get past level three, but that's ok. I also thought the knights were entirely worthless as a unit.
We had the same idea and our games have the same problem: The fast melee unit is really under powered and just using tanks and ranged units is just better. The graphics are amazing
Adorable! I love those sort of mixed media art styles. Fun idea, but I would have liked a bit more clarity on enemy ranges so it was easier to see which paths would put you in the line of fire of certain things, and maybe the ability to queue up your units before sending them out in one go?

The art is soo cool great work on that. It was really well designed too with a lot of diversity in gameplay so it was good fun, I played through the whole thing! Really really cool art and also I liked how you made it rabbits and foxes to continue the theme that was cute.

This game is extremely well polished, love it. It's very cool to be able to think of new strategies to get further and eventually beat the levels. Audio is cute, and not distracting at all. Very well done, absolutely one of my favorites :) Thank you for submitted it at my stream on twitch !
